When we purchased our Lake Vermilion property in 1987, the cabin was already there. In the early years, it served as a quiet gathering place while we planned our retirement years in the North Country. During the 1990s, we rented it to many families – sometime for a week, sometimes for the season.
In 2000, its role changed. We retired to Lake Vermilion and lived in the “guest cabin” ourselves year round while we built our new log home on the same property.
But now it’s time for our guest cabin to return to its past. In 2013, we began renting our Guest Cabin to a new group of families so they, too, can experience a week’s vacation on our great lake.
