Modern Escape

A Modern Escape to the beautiful Wayne County, Utah, can be described as a remote and scenic area within the colorful Colorado Plateau. It's characterized by its historic significance as part of the Ute Indian domain, with much of its beauty lying within the Capitol Reef and Canyonlands National Parks. The county is also known for its Fremont River and access to outdoor recreation. 

This BNB was created and modernized to fit comfortably and convenience for anyone who wants to enjoy themselves, whether you are exploring Capital Reef National Park, Fishing, Hunting or just wanna get away. It will be a home away from home. 

Modern Escape features a beautifully designed simple but modern kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, everything you need to cook a simple meal or a Thanksgiving dinner.  A unique style kitchen sink with many options like washing your fruits or washing glasses or spraying off plates. It’s all in one! We added upper cabinet lighting with the option to change to lighting to fit the mood or play some music and set the lighting to match the beat. A fully stocked kitchen island for easy meal preparation.

The living room sectional seats up to 5 guests and even has a pullout for sleeping, Sit and enjoy your favorite show or sport game on the 65’ smart fire tv. The coffee table lifts up to a table. Also there is a bar table with 4 stools for enjoying coffee or a designated work space. 

Walk into the bedroom and see a king size fully ajustable bed with a simple but elegant headboard and premium sheets, with a feather down comforter for your comfort with lux pillows. On each side of the bed you will have your own nightstand with wireless charging stations and charging ports located on the side. An added bonus is the 5ft electric fire place with led changing lights to fit your mood. And a 55’ smart fire tv above it, and a secure place to store valuables.

Beyond the bedroom there is a closet for hanging your clothing and storing your bags with plenty of room for his and hers. Through the door to the left there is the bathroom carefully designed with heated tile floors, large lighted mirror and glass inclosed shower/tub.  Take a shower or bath and never runout of hot water with our tankless hot water heater. Pamper yourself! 

This BNB is truly one of a kind and is a must see on your next adventure to Wayne County whether you’re staying for a night or a week, you won’t forget this experience.

This modern escape exceeded our expectations and we’re already telling friends and family to stay here when they’re in the area. I wish the owners nothing but success in their business endeavors. Great communication with the owners. Absolutely lovely accommodations, from the comfy bed to the well stocked kitchen. We will stay here again!
Horses out the kitchen window was was an added bonus!

The apartment is well appointed and super functional. Loved the nice touches like Tubi so you don’t need to log in and out of streaming apps. The location is perfect for day trips to several parks, both State and National. The owners are super nice as well. Highly recommend.

Hey there! So, yeah, my name’s Chanelle, and this is my husband John—we’re the Stirling’s. We’ve got our 10-year-old son with us too, and man, we just love our little slice of heaven out here in Loa, Utah.
We actually ended up here kind of by accident back in 2019. We came out from Salt Lake City to do some tiling work on a hotel, and we totally fell in love with the whole county—the views, the quiet, everything. After a while, we found this place that just felt right, and we made it our home. It was supposed to be our retirement spot someday, but life had other plans, and honestly, we’re glad it worked out this way—we’re living it now instead!
What we love most about being here is all the stuff we can do right around us. We’re big into hunting, boating, fishing, tearing it up on the RZRs… and honestly, just the peace and quiet is unbeatable. No crowds, no noise—just wide-open space, red rocks, and starry nights that make you feel small in the best way.
We still travel a ton too, though. We’ll hop down to Arizona, hit Vegas for a quick getaway, or head out to California. And then there’s our house in Costa Rica—that’s our real escape. We love scuba diving and deep-sea stuff there; it’s the ultimate way to relax and recharge after all the Utah adventures.
It’s funny how things turn out—started as a job, turned into our whole life. But we wouldn’t trade it. Our family’s out here making memories every day, and it’s pretty darn perfect. 😊

The neighborhoods here are so peaceful, with these calm, tree-lined streets, mountain views everywhere, and barely any traffic or chaos. It’s the kind of place where you can let your kid play outside without constant worry.

It’s honestly one of the most peaceful spots I’ve ever been around—super safe and quiet, with that fresh, crisp mountain air that just feels clean every single day. Right now the air quality is solid (usually “Good” on the AQI scale, with low pollution levels thanks to being up high and away from big-city smog), and the people here are genuinely amazing—friendly, welcoming, the kind who actually say hi and mean it.
