Your private stay includes an entire furnished house with a private fenced in backyard. Equipped with 2 king sized beds, 1 full sized bed, full kitchen, washer & dryer. Enjoy the outdoor deck entertainment area with a netted gazebo ***due to inclement weather, the gazebo canvas will be down during the winter months*** 1 bedroom with King bed located on the first floor.

2 additional bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 full size bed) located on the second floor.

Bathroom located on first floor. Supplied with towels, wash cloths, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Available parking to suit 3 vehicles OR 2 vehicles + 1 boat trailer The garage is unavailable to guests

***this property is located near the railroad tracks. Although the train does not typically blow its horn when passing the house, we do provide ear plugs for extra light sleepers***

A 5 minute walk to the Jet Express to the Lake Erie Islands or to downtown Port Clinton. Lighthouses, Cedar Point, Kalahari, African Safari & other attractions are just a short drive away

If cleaning is finished early you may check in early!

The place is great and very quiet, the only thing I think anyone should know is that there are train tracks going through the backyard and the roar goes all night. There are no train horns but the engine noise and moving cars in noisy here and there. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for Bash on The Bay and had a great time! Very easy walk to the Jet Express! Connor was very clear with check-in/out instructions and easy to get a hold of. Would absolutley stay here again!

Connor was a wonderful host, with excellent communication and everything we needed for a great stay in this well-organized home. The comfortable, cozy furniture was so luxurious after a day of beaching during our girls' getaway! Thank you so much, we truly enjoyed our stay and would return again to this home, tucked away in Port Clinton!
It's the light, welcoming touches for me. Makes you want to settle right in.

House was clean. But we killed 23 black ants on the main floor. The 2 bedrooms were upstairs with a steep staircase. The train was close, very loud and ran often. And blowing his whistle at every crossing. The garbage can was knocked over when we arrived on April 15th 5:30 pm with 1 bag of garbage strewn over the yard and a rock sidewalk which is difficult to walk on in heels. The kitchen is small. There is a coffee maker but it is a 1 cup Keirig. We ended up leaving a day early April 18th at 7am. I did reach out to the host and shared my concerns with her and she replied right away. To clarify I booked April 15th Arrival - April 19th Check out. NOT April 14th - April 18th as the host lists at top of page!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear you found the home clean and that communication was prompt during your stay. Regarding the ants, this was unexpected and occurred following a period of heavy rain, which can occasionally cause seasonal ant activity in the area. The home has since been treated to ensure this is fully resolved. For clarity, the home’s layout—including the two upstairs bedrooms, staircase, and walkway into the home is outlined in the listing description and photos so guests can review the setup prior to booking. The nearby train line is also noted, as it is part of the surrounding area. We did experience a significant wind and rain storm just prior to your arrival, which likely caused the outdoor trash bin to tip over. I apologize for that inconvenience on arrival. The kitchen setup, including the Keurig coffee maker, is accurately described in the listing, and we aim to provide clear details so guests know what to expect. Lastly, your reservation was confirmed for April 15–19, and the system reflects those dates accordingly. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay with ANY concerns, as we are happy to address issues in real time whenever possible, however you did not provide us that opportunity. Thank you again for your feedback—we’re always working to maintain a clean, accurately represented, and comfortable space for our guests.
