This riverfront house in Absarokee offers a relaxing retreat and all-native trout fly fishing for up to 8 guests. With a large living room, large kitchen and eating area, 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a separate 4-person bunkhouse, and RV/camper hookup*, this home provides all the comforts you need for an enjoyable stay. Relax in the serene surroundings or take advantage of the game room, WiFi, washer/dryer (we supply detergent), and more amenities. Experience what Absarokee has to offer with a stay at our lovely house.

There is excellent fly fishing right outside of the back door! Relax on our large deck, with a stainless steel gas grill and an outdoor table which seats 8 people. There is a firepit down by the creek. We supply firewood.

You will be within walking distance of historic downtown Absarokee, with restaurants, bars, a grocery store, and shops.

The historic town of Red Lodge is about half an hour's drive. From there, you can take Hwy. 212 up to the Beartooth Highway, for an exhilarating, white-knuckler drive to elevations over 10,000 feet. The views are breathtaking! You'll reach Cooke City and Silvergate and can drive from there into Yellowstone National Park.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Quiet, clean, spacious and the wildlife abundant. Very pet-friendly. It was an amazing getaway. I would stay there again.

The only hiccup we had was getting in, but once we got ahold of the landlord via text rather than the vrbo app, it was smooth sailing! The house was very clean, there were some pans that were dirty, but that was it. The kitchen has most of the things you need, but if you’re a family and you’re looking to stay here and cook a lot, there are a few item missing (as of 4/5/26): Toaster (we used the broil setting on the oven) Oven pans (cookie sheets, casserole pans) The appliances were new and worked great, it was nice to have filtered water and ice cubes! The beds were comfy, that was a relief! Bathrooms were clean, though the master shower was better than the one by the other room, the girls ended up using ours for better pressure. The game room was great to have, it was well utilized! The creek was beautiful! Such an amazing perk to the already great house! A trip to truly remember!
