Summer vacation

We’ve been to the same location now for the past five years but first time in this particular condo. Other than the wasps this time of year we had a nice stay. The beach and water is always nice, having the rec room is an added bonus with the kids. Really enjoyed our stay

Nice getaway in Akiskinook

Good little condo for a family holiday, nice outdoor space add to the footprint. Beautiful location amongst the trees at the end of the property.

Over promised and under delivered!

Ad lists a pool that’s been under construction for a year and a half, ad lists a rec center but it, also, is closed due to construction, waterfront, yah, it’s a good golf cart ride away because the suite is the furthest from the water.

Nice resort

The locations was nice but we couldn't launch our boat and had to go into town to do it. The place was nice but needed a little maintance. We enjoyed our stay and even had a deer come visit us!

Very Relaxing!

Although it rained 5/7 days we still enjoyed ourselves. The area is relaxing. Don is a great host. We look forward to future visits.

Affordable and good choice for short stays

Quiet place, with a nice patio looking out into the trees. Friendly neighbours. The recreation Center was under construction during our stay so the pool was closed and made it difficult to do laundry. Has own private beach which we had to ourselves which was nice. Close to Invermere and fairmount. This would be a good affordable place if you were staying for 1-2 days but not comfortable for our 8 day stay. It was very damp in the condo and tons of spiders on the patio and in the condo. We were worried before arriving because it didn’t have AC but it stays fairly cool on hot days which was nice. It needs some better upkeep in certain areas. It states it has a jacuzzi tub but it is a very old tub and doesn’t have a plug so I couldn’t use it even if I wanted too. I had to clean the patio furniture 3 times just so we could sit outside because the furniture was so dusty and full of spider webs. A BBQ was provided which was convenient however. Inside the condo was fairly clean. The dishwasher didn’t work well and we needed to wash all dishes by hand. It was nice to have wifi and cable. If the pool was working it would have been a better stay. The playground, tennis courts and basketball court are close to the unit and in great condition. Might stay at the resort again if the pool is fixed but probably not in the same unit

I stayed for 2 months, and really enjoyed the Akiskinook resort! Such beautiful premises. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on in the building I was staying....7 days a week, from 8 am and sometimes until after 8pm. Also, the pool and hot tub weren’t working for the last 2 weeks of our stay

Akiskinook is a favorite holiday destination with its close proximity; only a 2,5 hour scenic mountain drive from Calgary or 5 hours from Edmonton through Banff and Kootenay National Parks.
