Charming & Great Location!

Steps from a bustling creek and waterfall. This cottage is perfect for anyone coming to the area! Stocked with guest exclusives: snacks, drinks, extra towels, soaps, books, seasonal candles/decorations, kitchenware, linens, pillows, an adjustable bed, yoga mat, board games and a Smart TV with hundreds of free channels and movies from various apps like Pluto, Tubi, YouTube. This rental is the “Right-Side Unit”, private and two floors. In bedrooms, mattresses are new (used only by guests). The backyard is huge! Play catch, kick a ball or try out any of the outdoor games found in the sun room. WiFi is lightning fast and reaches all over. Cottage is located in a booking- friendly neighborhood and just off the highway. You are literally at the center of Dutchess County.

Right Side Unit: Kitchen, dining room, living room, sunroom, full bathroom and laundry on the first floor. A staircase takes you to the second floor where you’ll find 3 bedrooms, an office and another full bathroom.

Outside you have a front porch, the huge back yard, grill, patio, chairs, table, umbrella and a deck. The fire pit is set with cut wood to the side!

The property is amazing. The house is beautiful and very inviting and comfortable. It was easy to locate. Even though the property was older with loads of charm it was updated with many modern conveniences. The owner stayed in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. We would stay again.

We were all attending the Duchess County Sheep and Wool festival. The property had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to cook so we didn't have to venture out. The lighting throughout the house was excellent and we knitted all over. Having 2 full baths was great, too. There was never a line at the door. The home is older so the staircase is very steep, but we overcame it! We did blow a fuse at one point and Kip got our lights back on very fast. Overall a wonderful stay. I recommend it!

Kip is an incredible host. The gem is meticulous. Every attention to detail was made for our stay. Luxurious bed and bath items, including thick towels, a super comfy bed and the best bedding. All of the details of the home are welcoming, nothing is missed including toiletries, stocked full laundry, snacks, even quick meals. Also we found, quick meals, dry goods, pasta with sauce, 3 bottles of wine to welcome us....condiments, spices, cleaning supplies, on and on. This was better, quieter and cozier than staying at a luxury spa, which we have done. I forgot my phone charger, there was a cordless one in the draw. Kip even checked in and said if we needed anything to let him know and he would drop it on the front porch for us. Thank you so much Kip. We can't wait to plan our next trip to your lovely home. We would love to be able to use the amazing back porch in warmercweather. We wish you much success!

Across the street from my house is a bustling creek and waterfall. I know it may sound odd, but I like to catch crayfish and throw rocks at the other fish. At any given time, you can spot the two clashing. Nature is vicious. Poor crayfish never win. As far as my property goes the backyard is huge. You’ll find your own Patio and chairs. Fire Pit. Grill. Deck. In the house you’ll find a Yoga mat, Volleyball kit, books, candles, toys for the kids, a smart TV that runs on apps with hundreds of free movies and channels. WiFi reaches all of the house and property and is lightning fast. Small village setting where the neighbors are actually quiet. A desk for writing or catching up on work. Plenty of writing utensils. Plenty of towels and linens. I also have fragrances in the cabinet of the living room and all guests get my signature soaps. Bathrooms and kitchen is also fully stocked. I enjoy hosting on various booking apps.

I like to ask my guests before arriving what sort of snacks and drinks they like. Being a good hosts for me means making sure guests have an assortments of treats.
