The house sits on quiet country road and is well maintained. The host provided snacks and essentials in case you forgot something. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Kip is an incredible host. The gem is meticulous. Every attention to detail was made for our stay. Luxurious bed and bath items, including thick towels, a super comfy bed and the best bedding. All of the details of the home are welcoming, nothing is missed including toiletries, stocked full laundry, snacks, even quick meals. Also we found, quick meals, dry goods, pasta with sauce, 3 bottles of wine to welcome us....condiments, spices, cleaning supplies, on and on. This was better, quieter and cozier than staying at a luxury spa, which we have done. I forgot my phone charger, there was a cordless one in the draw. Kip even checked in and said if we needed anything to let him know and he would drop it on the front porch for us. Thank you so much Kip. We can't wait to plan our next trip to your lovely home. We would love to be able to use the amazing back porch in warmercweather. We wish you much success!

We were all attending the Duchess County Sheep and Wool festival. The property had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to cook so we didn't have to venture out. The lighting throughout the house was excellent and we knitted all over. Having 2 full baths was great, too. There was never a line at the door. The home is older so the staircase is very steep, but we overcame it! We did blow a fuse at one point and Kip got our lights back on very fast. Overall a wonderful stay. I recommend it!

The property is amazing. The house is beautiful and very inviting and comfortable. It was easy to locate. Even though the property was older with loads of charm it was updated with many modern conveniences. The owner stayed in contact to make sure we had everything we needed. We would stay again.

I live, in the Left-Side Unit part-time. I am a quiet, friendly artist and home designer/project manager, often out antiquing or working in the field. I strive for making meaningful experiences in whatever I am working on. Hosting is apart of that philosophy and making sure guests have great expectations. I am typically away in Albany from Thursday to Saturday, so while I’m nearby if you need me, you will also likely have the property entirely to yourself during your weekend stays.

To escape a busy city, and have a place to unwind, that isn’t isolating, but still has a mix of nature and peace is what I love most. And this Neighborhood is very welcoming of guests. Friendly neighbors and located to all my favorite coffee shops and shopping is a plus. I enjoy so much listening to the waterfall on summer nights and falling asleep to the stillness of time. It’s so simple. It’s great.
