Wonderful vacation; Lovely Accommodations.

I so enjoyed my recent vacation at this lovely condo in Ocean Village. The unit was very bright, spacious and nicely furnished. And the ocean view was spectacular from this top floor condo! I spent many hours on the patio enjoying a meal, a cup of tea or just a good book while enjoying the beautiful scenery and the calming ocean breeze. I've been to Ocean Village many times and it has plenty of wonderful amenities in addition to its fantastic, never crowded beach, such as golf, tennis, bocce, pickleball, numerous pools and lots of organized activities. But what keeps bringing me back are the wonderful people I encounter each time I visit. The resident owners and other guests and renters, as well as the OV staff, are almost unfailingly friendly and welcoming. This year I met the loveliest group of people at morning pickleball. What a wonderful community Ocean Village is! It was also a very pleasant experience dealing with Nancy, the owner of this terrific unit. She was very responsive, kind and professional during the whole process. I would definitely make a return visit to this condo and would heartily recommend it to friends.

An absolute gem!

We had the pleasure of staying in Nancy’s beautiful Ocean Village condo this summer. The views from the condo are absolutely breathtaking. It has everything you need (washer, dryer, dishwasher, plenty of linens, an elevator, indoor parking garage space, storage closet in the parking garage, etc.) and is super cute. It is much bigger than we thought it would be from the pictures. There are ample amenities at Ocean Village - pools, hot tub, tennis courts, a 9-hole executive golf course, a restaurant/tiki bar (the lobster pizza was delish!), shuffleboard, bocce, etc. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and all the staff & residents were super nice and welcoming. It’s very safe as well - the community is gated and the security staff drive around on golf carts. They have thought of everything from luggage & grocery carts to places to wash your feet after the beach. Everything was so well-maintained, easy, and lovely. The beach is just steps away and the storage locker makes storing your beach essentials easy (there are also beach chairs & beach towels provided). The porch is nice, big, and comfortable, and there are screens that you can lower to keep out the bugs - a huge plus. We loved just sitting and looking out at the ocean! We really loved the area, too. Fort Pierce is a gem, and especially South Hutchinson Island. It’s nice and quiet where the condo is, and there are miles of beach to walk to the south with no development (it is preserved state land). The beach is basically private - often we were the only ones there - and the water is really nice. We loved that the development was quiet and felt secluded, but also close to the basics right on the island like a small grocery store, gas stations, and some great food (Chuck’s & Taco Dive are not to be missed), AND just over the bridge is everything you could need (downtown Fort Pierce is super cute, and I have to put in a plug for the fantastic restaurant 12A Buoy). There are also very nice public parks everywhere. The palm tree-lined streets make it feel like the paradise that it truly is! Nancy was great to work and very responsive. Thank you so much for hosting us, Nancy! Don’t hesitate to book this rental - it was better than we could have ever imagined!

I fell in love with this area of Florida, especially the private uncrowded beaches. The quality of life is a perfect mix of casual, relaxed ease with just a touch of sophistication in the quality of restaurants, friendliness of the people and the variety of things to do. Local museums and an active cultural district make it the perfect vacation spot - do as much or as little as you like.

You will love the unobstructed view of the Atlantic. Watching the sunrise while enjoying your morning coffee from your bed or balcony is the best. I enjoy walking the beach for miles. Private pool for this building only.
