We, strangely enough, met in Lagos, Nigeria. My husband was an executive with a communications company who walked into the U.S. Embassy (Lagos was then the capitol of Nigeria) wanting information about a tax treaty. The rest was fate. We've been married 40 years and have three daughters and sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren. A career in the U.S. foreign service is why there are artifacts from our tours that form part of the decor which is mostly from Africa/ Middle east, Turkey etc.
We chose to retire to Jackson because our family loves to ski, hike and enjoy the great outdoors. Our strategy is working thus far because two of our daughters live nearby and the third loves to visit.
