As a returning student to BSU, I loved the proximity via bike from home to classes, and the ability to then bike from school to work downtown in mere minutes.

Grocery and convenience stores are super close to the home, yet the home is in a quiet neighborhood with only occasional foot and road traffic from neighbors.

Perfectly situated between the airport and downtown, The Gem is 1.4 miles to the center of downtown, and 2-1/2 miles to the airport. The historic train depot is two blocks away, and four of Boise's flagship parks are within a short biking distance (Ann Morrison, Julia Davis, and Kathryn Albertsons Park, as well as the 25-mile Boise Greenbelt).

The home was built in 1958 in the north end of town and moved to its current location in the summer of 2015.

All plumbing, wiring, and heating/cooling systems are brand new as are all windows, doors and appliances. Enjoy original, refinished hard wood floors throughout the living room, bedrooms and hall. The home also has a new roof and paint. It truly is a Gem!

The couch features reclining seats for binge watching the included Netflix and/or Dish cable entertainment package. The master bedroom has blackout shades, and all shades are double-cellular construction which better insulates the home.

The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with butter, oils, spices, an assortment of beverages, cereals and pancake mixes, and so much more, as well as sharp knives and new cookware.

Also included in the kitchen are pasta, rice’s, coffee, tea, etc. as well as an ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave. The bathroom is also stocked very well. You might only need your toothbrush.
