The cottage was great, no issues. It’s a good location for exploring the Twinningate peninsula. Nice hiking trail is just a couple blocks away. Appreciated all the amenities and host support. Would definitely book again in future, maybe when the whales and icebergs are in season :).

This is our 3rd time staying at Peggy's Place because this cottage is the perfect rental for us! It so clean, comfortable and close to our family, it has everything we need while away from home (Miramichi, NB). We stayed 9 nights from July 19 - 28 and even though the weather didn’t cooperate most days (it was rainy and colder than we are used to for July), we still took full advantage of sitting on the patio, watching the sunrise and boats go past. We love Twillingate and all it has to offer, but the cell service is not great. Peggy’s place has high speed internet and we were able to make calls with Wi-Fi calling. My 15 yr old gamer never complained about the Wi-Fi, so the connection was good!Since our last stay here in 2022, the cottage now has a mini split, which was great to warm us up because it was only 8*C outside the one day we went fishing. The shower head has been replaced with a hand held (which is awesome for the Mrs. who don’t like to get her hair wet when she showers) and they added a full length mirror (a request from the Mrs.). We are already looking forward to our next visit to Twillingate and will definitely be booking Peggy’s Place again! Thanks xo.

Quiet place and great location

Linda is an excellent host and has provided everything you need at her lovely cottage. The location is great with easy access to the Rockcut Trails which are terrific. Short drive to the centre of town and all things Twillingate.

House had all the amenities you could need plus laundry and an outdoor clothesline. Comfortable beds but if counting on the futon it’s not comfortable. Very clean and good location.

House in the storm

The house was a cute 2 bedroom with a large living room and kitchen which were very useful during a stormy Sunday in Twillingate. House has everything needed to make your stay a great one. This house is located in Durrell among traditional Newfoundland homes with a nice view. Excellent!!

Charmed by loads of natural beauty and kind locals

The bungalow sits on a grassy hill in a quaint Newfoundland neighborhood. It is quiet, very safe, convenient to businesses, only had to drive a few minutes to get to them. We enjoyed the water and boat views from the front window and deck. The home is very clean, furnished comfortably, just know the rear bedroom is tight. Great water pressure in the shower. Staying in early June, we had huge yellow dandelion flowers in the yard, and yellow warblers and other birds singing to us. We heard frogs in the pond a block over. We enjoyed so much driving around and spotting the icebergs, plus took an iceberg boat tour (reserved well in advance). We found sea glass at the cove down at the end of our road, about a 10 minute walk. We walked a couple coastal trails with magnificent views. Had a super lunch of deep-fried cod at the Great Auk winery and loved their hysterical paper placemat (have to reserve a table for dinner)! Ruby, a longtime resident who lives across the street, and helps maintain the property, was absolutely charming. Corey, who lives a couple doors down, was a great source of local info. The owner Linda responded very quickly to texts. All in all, a charming experience—book it and bring your binoculars!
