My room faced the street, not the beach. Major renovations are currently underway, and this was not communicated in advance. Loud mechanical sounds were not conducicive to relaxation. The renovations are being done on the cheap, and my room was not really ready for occupancy. Outlets in my room and the lobby were not functional. When I leaned forward to investigate the outlet behind the desk, white paint from the wall got in my hair. Furniture (the desk with a wooden canopy and no light, yet an outlet that didn’t supply power) in room and layout were strange, with large, almost empty dressing room/closet adjacent to small bathroom did not make sense. Tiles on walls falling off and of non-matching colors. No water between 11pm and 7am. No hot water in the morning. Tiki bar and restaurant closed.
