Peaceful Getaway

Had a wonderful time enjoying cooking on the fire pit, relaxing both inside and out, and fishing on the dock. Planning to return to this cabin soon.

Great Property and Location

This is a very nice lakefront cottage. The cottage was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The dock on the lake was perfect and allowed me to easily come in and out on my boat.

Wonderful Place!

Simply wonderful and so much character. Even though the weather for our trip was drab, the home was so cozy and accommodating that we couldn't help but have a wonderful time.

Perfect for a 5 day fishing trip. Cottage is in great shape with newer appliances and thoughtful touches from the host in case you forget little things. Biggest plus was the dock which we used for our pontoon boat. No need to drive everyday to a launch or marina!

Great Cottage Right on the Lake

The cabin was equipped wirh everything needed! It was beautiful and filled with character. A great place gor a girls' weekend. We spent time at Lisa's General Store and headed to the quaint shops in Volant We thoroughly enjoyed the brews nearby (half mile from cabin) and dinner at Carini's.

It was the cleanliness and attention to detail that was so impressive with this property! From the upgrades to the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. Quality linens, dishware, towels and amenities!! Top notch! We did not use the bunk beds, but look perfect for kids. The view from the dining table was gorgeous! Don't miss reading the history wall. It is quite an uphill hike to and from the boat dock, but it was new and in perfect condition! We will certainly consider renting it again!Pittsburgh, PA Sept. 17 - 23, 2025

Quaint Cottage

This cottage is very quaint. It has beautiful views of the lake. There is no access to the lake from the property though due to a steep shoreline. The neighboring house is also quite close. It is an older home with a musty smell and could use some appliance upgrades as well as new bedding and towels. Also, was hoping to find some interesting places to visit in Jamestown area but there's not much to see.

Perfect getaway

We traveled with a group of ten people ranging in age from 10-70. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, clean, and fully stocked with kitchen items, linens, cleaning supplies and more. It feels much bigger than the pictures show due to the vaulted ceilings in the main living area and views. Gorgeous view of the lake from the inside living and dining area, and a fire pit outside perfect for sharing stories & making s'mores. Good spot for kids to skip rocks, swing, run, and play! Right down the street from a Brewery & Winery, close to all local attractions. Absolutely loved this place! Thank you!

Cute cabin

Attentive owners, lovely lakefront, nice kitchen and bathroom. If you are looking for a nice get a way with your kids, this is the perfect place. State park trails, winery and lovely lake scenery makes this a good spot for a family vacation.

Great Property

I booked this for my birthday retreat with my friends. Property has a beautiful lake view, they should include the picture in their listing. The two major issues was the property manager's response to texts and calls (which was non existent) and the Hot water from all faucets stinks.

Relaxation

What a beautiful little cottage. My wife and I had such a relaxing time whether it was by the fireplace, on the recliners looking out the big beautiful windows at the lake or on one of the zero gravity chairs underneath the big oak tree. What a great place to unwind and enjoy the lake life.

Our Mini Vacation

Everything at this location was in perfect order. the beds were very nice and comfortable and it was very quite. The only problem was the smell and taste of the water and it was not that bad. The pluses of this property far outweighed this one single problem. We would stay here again.

Beautiful view and cozy cabin

We had a really nice weekend at the cabin with my son and husband. The cabin was cozy and the view was AMAZING. It was a nice quiet getaway and just what we needed.

Great family getaway rental!

We wanted a place to stay in the area that felt like camping but wasn’t the campground—this was perfect! We had 4 kids under 5 with us and it was the perfect stress-free trip! Close to the dam, the spillway, the brewery and town—would definitely recommend for anyone especially families!

The cabin was very nice and so was the location but the internet did not work the whole time we was there. The fridge didnt seem to get cold and the towels and wash clothes were very musty smelling also the fire pit they had was very strange and I personally thought would be hard to cook or even add logs to.
