The Little Smokies Escape sits tucked into Ohio's Edge of Appalachia bordering Shawnee State Forest. Sleeps 5. A full kitchen, cozy living area, and wake up to coffee on the porch, spend the day on forest trails, paddling, or exploring Boneyfiddle Historic District and come back to the hot tub and a fire pit that's already begging for s'mores.

The cabin was just what we wanted - a very nice place to stay away from it all near a stream and woods where there were lots of migrating birds. The cabin had comfortable beds, a huge, super comfortable sofa, big tv in the living room and everything we needed in the kitchen. We also enjoyed visiting Portsmouth (about 15 minutes away) to see the dozens of amzing murals painted on the wall along the river.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The host had everything set up and little ribs we did not expect. Hot tub was amazing.

Great location, the house was very clean, and in the perfect location. Only about 19 minutes to Portsmouth that has some great food. Also the hot tub was great after a long day of hiking.. We will definitely be back!

Very clean home, hot tub was the cleanest one we have ever encountered, host was very informative, prompt, and easily reachable. The little touches (s'mores basket and toiletry basket in master bath) were a super sweet gesture. Plenty of blankets and towels. AC was great. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. This was perfect for my husband and I to get away and unplug from adulting. We plan to stay again on the future!

The property is beautiful. With non-stop rain during our trip, we spent more time inside than we typically would. The cabin felt like home and we found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. The hot tub is bigger than most, that we come across in our travels. The water was crystal clear and provided an excellent view of the property. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Such a clean, cozy cabin for a week away! My husband and I loved our stay and everything the cabin had to offer. It has everything you need to cook meals, relax, explore outdoors, and disconnect. There isn’t cell service (was a plus for us), but the internet was great and I was able to work remotely for a few days. The hot tub was a nice bonus too. You’re in the middle of nowhere and still within 15 minutes of driving distance to get groceries or any essentials. Andrea was awesome to communicate with and incredibly helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Exceptional cabin and host

Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with and her response time was almost immediate for my many questions. I was traveling with my mother and brother and the cabin was plenty of room with lovely amenities and very clean!
