Very centrally located in Norrbotten / Sapmi, which opens up for travel in all directions. Variation is thus the keyword.
There are 2 big rivers just below the house where salmon rises. The nearby area is full of historical Sami names. The summer is truly amazing with both midnight sun and often very good temperatures for the area, which can give a really exotic feel. The winter with dark, clear, cold nights, northern lights and the sky full with stars above your head is another great experience. All seasons of the year has something special to offer.
You can reach alpine regions, forest landscapes, and costal regions, neighbouring countries, and smaller cities (Luleå in mind) within hours. Gällivare town is just some 35 minutes away with modern shopping malls etc if you want that for a variation some days.
You need a car to enjoy this place fully.
