Steps from 2 lakes! Furnished 3BR smart home w/spa shower & solar power
What I love most about this place — and what guests keep mentioning too — is the primary suite. The bedroom itself is a proper retreat: a California King bed, a wall-mounted TV, blackout blinds, and a view out toward the neighborhood greenbelt and the famous Morrison Ranch grain silos. But it's the bathroom I still catch myself lingering in: a floor-to-ceiling onyx accent wall, a glass-enclosed shower with five spray heads (including a proper rain head), and a freestanding soaking tub set right beneath a picture window. It's the kind of detail that makes a trip feel like a genuine reset, not just a place to crash.
The rest of the house keeps that same energy. Downstairs, a two-story entry with a vaulted ceiling opens into a living room built around an 83" 4K TV with surround sound — the black leather reclining sectional makes it very hard to leave. The eat-in kitchen has a big center island, soft-close wood cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances including a convection oven (perfect if baking is part of your trip) and a reverse-osmosis system for genuinely good drinking water. Upstairs, two more bedrooms — one with its own 70" Smart TV — share a full bath, and blackout blinds throughout mean everyone actually sleeps in.
This is also a fully smart, fully self-sufficient home: Alexa runs the lighting, blinds, and video doorbell, and three Tesla Powerwall batteries paired with rooftop solar keep everything running even if the grid doesn't cooperate. Out back, a covered patio and grassy yard planted with lemon, grapefruit, tangelo, orange, and pomegranate trees make for an easy evening outdoors.
What you'll find if you explore the area: the house sits inside Morrison Ranch, built around two catch-and-release lakes with their own fountains — pack a picnic, watch the ducks and the occasional turtle, or grab a rod and try your luck; the community stocks them for exactly that. Walking and biking trails wind through the greenbelts, and lighted pickleball and tennis courts are a short walk away if you want to work off the flight.
For something different, Revel Surf — Arizona's surf park, complete with a wave lagoon and beachside dining — and AZ Ice are both just a short drive away, which tends to surprise first-time visitors to the desert. If you'd rather stay on dry land, the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch and Gilbert Regional Park are close by for hiking and birdwatching.
Downtown Gilbert is under 15 minutes away and worth the trip: ribs at Joe's Real BBQ, line dancing at Whiskey Row, or the hidden speakeasy at the White Rabbit if you know where to look. San Tan Village covers shopping and casual dining about 10 minutes down the road, and everyday stops — grocery store, pharmacy, a quick bite to eat — are all within 5 minutes of the front door.
Everything is fully furnished, and the small stuff is covered too. The kitchen's already stocked with coffee, tea, and creamer, to start (or end!) your day right. Each full bathroom already has everything you need to unwind after a day in the Arizona heat, from body wash and conditioner to a hair dryer.
So, what are you waiting for? Your desert oasis awaits. Bring your clothes and a toothbrush, and let the house do the rest.

I live right here in Arizona with my beautiful family! We just moved to a new place in Queen Creek, but after putting so much love into this house in Gilbert, wanted to share it with others!

I chose here for the same reason most people fall for Morrison Ranch: it doesn't feel like a typical subdivision. The Morrison family farmed this land for generations before slowly turning it into a community, and that heritage is everywhere — white rail fencing, mature trees, and the four original grain silos still standing as a landmark you can see from blocks away.
What sold me, though, were the lakes. Two catch-and-release lakes sit right in the neighborhood, each with its own fountain. I'd find an excuse to walk the path around them most evenings — watching the ducks, the occasional turtle, or a neighbor trying their luck with a fishing rod. The fountains catch the light beautifully right around sunset, if you time it right.
The scene here is easygoing and genuinely social. Kids ride bikes along the greenbelt paths, neighbors stop to chat, and on any given evening you'll find people out at the pickleball and tennis courts a couple blocks over.
When I want a change of scenery, Morrison Ranch's own Town Center has lakeside dining and everyday shops within easy reach, and downtown Gilbert's restaurants and nightlife are less than 15 minutes away — Joe's Farm Grill is a personal favorite. San Tan Village covers pretty much everything else, from big-name stores to good coffee, and Gilbert Regional Park isn't far if I'm in the mood for a longer walk.
Honestly, what I enjoy most is how little I have to plan for. Groceries, good food, a place to walk, a place to play — it's all just there, a short stroll or a short drive away.

Most rentals give you a nice kitchen and call it a day. This one keeps going.
Start with the primary bathroom — I still can't get over it myself. A floor-to-ceiling onyx wall wraps a glass-enclosed shower with five spray heads, including a rain head, and there's a freestanding soaking tub set right beneath a picture window. It genuinely feels more like a boutique hotel than a rental.
Then there's the tech. Not one, not two, but THREE Tesla Powerwall batteries paired with rooftop solar mean the house barely notices a grid outage — something I've come to appreciate living through Arizona summers. Inside, it's a fully integrated smart home: Alexa handles the lighting, the blinds, the video doorbell, even the kettle. The entertainment setup is no joke either — an 83" 4K TV with surround sound downstairs, an 85" TV in the primary suite, and a 70" in the third bedroom, each with its own streaming stick ready to go.
Peace of mind gets the same attention as comfort: smart smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, cameras covering the driveway and entry, and a reverse-osmosis system plus whole-house filter and softener for genuinely clean water.
Everything is fully furnished, down to the hybrid memory-foam mattress in the primary suite, so guests can arrive with just a bag. And because it sits inside Morrison Ranch, you're a short walk from the community's namesake grain silos and two catch-and-release lakes — the kind of backdrop a standard subdivision just can't offer.
It's the combination that stands out to me most — five-star finishes, real technology, real security, and a setting most rentals simply don't have access to.
