Great Location

Location was great for fly fishing in the Island Park - Yellowstone area! Plenty of room and easy access to park a drift boat on the property. Rooms were comfortable and well arranged w/ample space for storage of gear/clothing. Wi-fi and cell phone service is marginal and would be great if that could be improved for business use. All in all it is the best property rental in the Last Chance area and we will be back again to enjoy the area!

Very pleasant and spacious

The cabin is located in a small quiet neighborhood of a very small town. The town does not have many services, but there are enough basics to get by. And the people in the town are super helpful and friendly. The cabin is terrific! It is clean, spacious, and very well stocked. We could not have asked for more. WiFi worked fine and we had Netflix. Cell service (Sprint) was sketchy but we managed. The beds were comfy and warm. I would not hesitate to rent it again and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It is about 45 minutes to the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. To get to the park you drive through the town of West Yellowstone which is larger and has more services and restaurants available. We had a great time!

Great Location to Yellowstone

Great access to Yellowstone, Big Sky, and Jackson Hole. Don’t forget to bring your fly rods to fish the many blue ribbon rivers and lakes within an hour’s drive or less. Owner continues to make nice improvements to the property for guest comfort. Don’t overlook this vacation getaway!

Everything was as expected. Clean and comfortable. 30 minutes to west Yellowstone. Great things to see in island park. Don't miss Mesa Falls.

Great place

The property is really nice and the location even better. There are 10 actual beds, as opposed to 10 sleeping sites that sometime B&B's advertise, counting couches and such. I wish there was small closet in the second queen bedroom so I did not have to keep my cloths in the suitcase. Other than that, I loved the place and the property manager was very friendly.

Best hideout. 30 min from W. Yellowstone

Really nice place. Angie has thought of everything and had arranged a nice little welcome with proper instructions. Really clean place. Angie was really responsive. I'd definitely recommend.

Great place to stay.

We loved the house. Very spacious and comfortable. Everything was sparkling clean. Angie responded very quickly to any questions we had and was very patient with us. She was definitely a superhost. Lots of good stuff in the pantry and kitchen gadgets that we actually used. Can't say enough good things about this home. Highly recommend.

The stay here was very nice. I felt like I was at home, and was able to relax. The host makes you feel welcome by offering some in house amenities like food and drinks. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Very Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our stay and it served well as a comfortable home base. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. We enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and pantry. It was great having so many pantry essentials available as well as the extra food! We wanted to pack a picnic lunch each day. It would have been nice to have had a cooler available. We bought one and left it there for others to use. The property description listed a grill. Future guests, please note that it is a gas grill. Not knowing that, we had already purchased charcoal and lighter fluid which went unused. We enjoyed the fire pit most nights and were pleased to find the hotdog/marshmallow sticks for our use! There is no shortage of beds and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked with very ample supply of towels, shampoo, etc. We found the bed in the master bedroom to be very comfortable and the kids had no complaints about the bunk beds. However, the adults using the queen-sized bed in the other bedroom were eager to get home to their own bed after a few nights of sleep on that mattress. I understand that everyone has a different opinion of what a comfortable mattress is like. I would suggest that the description make it clear that even though there are 2 TV's, no TV channels can be accessed. This may not be a concern for most people, but one adult was quite disappointed. We were unable to get Netflix to work for us, but there was a selection of videos to watch. The property was very quiet, comfortable, and fit our needs well. Owner was very helpful in answering questions prior to our arrival. We appreciated a very speedy refund of our damage deposit.

Perfect for our needs + professional & welcoming owner

Angie was great. Easy to deal with, communicative, responsive and professional. What more do you want? We were a party of 5 fly fishermen and the house was perfect for our needs. Easy to find, easy to access, very close to the main fly shops and stores in Last Chance (you could walk if so inclined). 5+ minutes to Harriman Ranch, 10 to the rest of Island Park, 40 min to West Yellowstone. Everything was clean, comfortable and modest--perfect blend of function and affordability. Plenty of space to park three large vehicles as we came from three different airports. The keypad entry was great because anyone of us could come or go at anytime instead of having to chase down or worry about losing one or two keys. There are three bedrooms and two baths--one pair was the master, so one person got a sweet set up. Ok, it was me, but hey, I booked it. Something to think about in your party. Beds were fine, not luxury, but no complaints (although one guy was 6'4" and could have used a slightly longer mattress...but he's used to it). Full kitchen w/ dishwasher, microwave, toaster, fridge, insinkerator, etc. We used them all for the entire stay. Washer / dryer was super helpful, but bring your own detergent if you have a preference on soap scent. There was even quite a bit of food available for our use already in the house. Nice! Cell reception was spotty depending on carrier. I have Verizon and I could hear callers but not vice versa for some reason. Wifi is available at the house and included in price. We didn't use the TVs, so can't comment on that. There's also a neat little firepit outside, though we didn't use that either. We were fishing too late every night (often 10pm in June!). Overall a great stay and would recommend to others. I'm going to go with 5 stars. No, it's not luxury accommodation, but it fully lived up to its description without issues, possibly a little better than we expected, and that earns a perfect score in my book.

Fantastic

Place was clean and perfect for our needs. We only visited Harriman park but the location was perfect for our needs and priced perfect for a one night visit to the area. Owners were helpful and courteous. Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone. In fact, now on my list of potential opportunities for future visits to the area for vacation and fun.

My name is Angie and I am an Idaho native. My hometown is 1.5 hours away. I bought this home, because I love bringing my family up to this area. It is a central location to so many of Idaho's outdoor activities. I purchased this home with a few things in mind, space for fun, location, and coziness. It truly fits all those 3 qualities. Besides managing this vacation rental, I manage other properties, as well as work in the business management field. My biggest achievement by far though is striving to constantly serve every person I come in touch with.
