Welcome to the Alpenglow Retreat. This 6 bedroom home is located in a peaceful location surrounded by wildlife and mountain views along Alpenglow Way. You will be renting the entire home (2 sides of a duplex) and will have access to both driveways and all decks & patios. This is a new offering, as we have always rented them separately, but you can find reviews for each side under Alpenglow Mountain Getaway and Rocky Mountain R&R. Rare for Steamboat, especially in winter, there is plenty of parking in the driveways for up to 6 vehicles. The home will have a total of 2 kitchens, 2 dining areas, 3 living rooms, 2 washer/dryers and multiple private decks and patio areas for your enjoyment and room for everyone to spread out and feel at peace on the mountain. The two sides are not connected on the interior but you will have access codes to work both front doors.

The right side has been more extensively remodeled and boasts a main level with gorgeous kitchen, custom dining table and living room with south facing views. Here you can access the main deck where you will enjoy the mountain breeze while gazing at the mountains and far off into the Yampa Valley and Flat Tops beyond. This is where you will want to spend most of your time. This deck has a covered area with a grill and an outdoor dining table with umbrella. There is also a powder room on the main level and 1 bedroom with King bed and attached bathroom. Downstairs, you will find a second living area with plenty of seating, a gas stove and access to a lower level patio. Also downstairs you will find a laundry room with full size washer/dryer and a wet bar. There is a bedroom with a King bed and one with 2 sets of twin bunks. The two lower level bedrooms share a bathroom with tub/shower combo.

Moving over to the left side, you will find a small kitchen with newer appliances and a practical dining area with plenty of natural light. There is a bedroom with Queen bed and attached bathroom on this level. Walk down to a living area with gas stove and lots of light. You can access a patio area from here with grill and outdoor dining. There is also access to an unfinished basement area with washer & dryer. From the main level, go upstairs to find a bedroom with a King bed and one with a set of twin bunks. These bedrooms share a bathroom with remodeled walk-in shower.

This home is great for a large family or group who wants a clean and peaceful location, with plenty of room to spread out and ample parking but doesn't quite have the budget for some of the larger luxury mansions in Steamboat.
