We were very pleased to host these guests in our home. They were incredibly tidy and considerate. After their departure, the house was left in perfect condition, everything was in its place, and very well cleaned. The guests followed all house rules and treated the property with great respect. Communication with them was easy and pleasant; they always responded promptly and were very polite. We are very grateful for their attitude and would be happy to host them again anytime. We definitely recommend these guests to other hosts!

The interior of the property was clean and comfortable. It was spacious; plenty of room to spread out. Most people would be very happy with the large TVs on the main and lower levels. We didn't use them. We were too busy talking to each other. All in our party are elderly, and a couple found the interior stairs difficult to navigate. The depth of the risers was below standard size, I believe. Our reason for renting this property was its proximity to the hospital where our brother was dying. Had we needed to go to downtown Chicago, the train was just a couple of blocks away. Although we heard it once when we were outside, we never heard it when inside. The exterior of the property is pretty unattractive, which is probably why there is no picture of it on the listing. A picture of it would also show that it is a duplex, and that proved to be a problem on our last night there. The neighbors had a party and were very loud, inside and out. Two of the bedrooms have the shared wall and were kept from sleep by the noise. Overall, it is a reasonable alternative to the expensive hotels in the area if you need to be in that area.
