The apartment was not clean and I actually had to wash the sheets upon my arrival! The bathroom door hooks and a cabinet door hinge were broken and the shower door leaked water all over the floor, requiring mopping and towel wringing after every shower. The extra set of keys did not work and it took three weeks to get an extra key for the front door. The response time was crazy slow and I had to badger them relentlessly to get any action. The shower door wasn’t fixed during my month-long stay.Communication is horrible and it is very confusing as to who is in charge of the unit. If I did finally reach an actual human (bots responded to DM’s), there was no awareness about the apartment itself because no one seems to live/work anywhere near NYC, nor have they actually seen the apartment. It’s a pity that the apartment is so poorly run as it’s in a nice, old building in a lovely neighborhood. There were no reviews posted for this unit when I booked it. It would have been very helpful to have read one before spending so much money. So I hope this review is published, it will hopefully get management to show accountability and step up to the plate!
