Your feedback is appreciated. Although you mentioned the property is dated, in 2017 and 2021, the property was completely renovated, including furnishings and new tempur-pedic beds. This property is an original Deck House, designed by the Architect, William Berkes. Since this house won an Architectural Award, we restored and upgraded the house to meet the Deck House standards as well as to accommodate guests who appreciate quality homes. In response to your comments, on the VRBO Property Website and/or the Rental Agreement you signed, we disclosed the following information prior to your rental. -In compliance with the law and Fire Code, no grilling is allowed. -The blinds are on order, but due to the pandemic there is a shortage of materials, and the blinds were not available at the time of your rental. Since this property is an award-winning Deckhouse, designed with expansive windows to maximize the waterfront views you mentioned in your review, the property is outfitted with 2 ceiling fans, 7 fans and an air conditioner in the master bedroom. Previous Renters have commented that the property has a million-dollar view. We appreciated your feedback.

In response to your review, we appreciate your comments. Although we try to accommodate requests, we are required to comply with our Insurance Liability Policy and the Fire Safety Code Laws. Therefore, in the Rental Agreements (that were attached to the Listing) and you signed, we disclose the grilling and seawall restrictions. Thank you for your suggestions.

We are pleased you enjoyed the panoramic views. Since new windows were installed, we notified you that the window treatments were not ready at the time of your rental. In response to your grilling/fire pit comment, the homes you mentioned that had fire pits and grilling are private home-owners. Since this is a Rental property, we must comply with the Insurance and Fire Code restrictions that prohibit grilling and fire pits for local Rental properties. In the Rental Agreement that you signed, it clearly stated the Insurance/Fire Code restrictions and it was stated on the VRBO property listing. If you required grilling/fire pits, we recommend you look at the VRBO property listing more carefully that discloses all property amenities. Thank you for your comments.

We appreciate your review. This property is an original Deckhouse (designed by the Architect William Berkes). The property was recently renovated per the Deckhouse standards. The interior has exposed post and beams with vaulted windows and great walls of glass that feature the scenic waterfront views. It offers a space of relaxed elegance. In response to your comments, although VRBO allows Owners to charge extra fees, we did not charge extra fees. In the Rental Agreements you signed, you agreed to provide certain items. Also, in the Rental Agreement, it noted extra pillows and other essential items were included at the property. Thank you for your suggestions and review.

On the VRBO property listing and Rental Agreements you signed, it provides the maximum property capacity, detailed property information, and an inventory of items (including kitchen items for the 2-kitchens on the property).
