Great location at Fripp Island. The golf cart included with the rental was a huge benefit. We had one minor service issue that was handled quickly by the host. Would definitely stay at this condo again!

*READ BEFORE RENTING* 1) 644 Newhaven did not explain the implications of "not offering club cards". After investigating exactly what "no club card" meant, I found out that I wouldn't have access to the island amenities (pools, restaurants, golf, etc.) and hence would not be having the experience that I intended to. I tried to cancel 2 weeks out from actual stay but they chose not to offer ANY sort of refund, even though they could have chosen to give a full refund. 2) 644 Newhaven condo itself was in poor condition and severely dated. The walls in the kitchen and bathroom, including the shower, need repair and have been left unfinished or superficially covered over. The paint is also peeling off of the walls and doors etc. The kitchen cabinets are 40years old. The ceilings in the living room are cracked and the paint is peeling there as well. 3) 644 Newhaven's master bed mattress is ultra firm, meaning its VERY hard and VERY uncomfortable. 4) 644 Newhaven did not provide sufficient toiletries, meaning there was NO toilet tissue provided nor sufficient body soap for a 2 person, 4 night stay.5) There is a separate (but conjoined) condo on the second floor and the structure is old, which translates into you hearing every step made in the unit above. It is especially loud in the bedroom.6) There is a separate (but conjoined) condo on either side of this condo. Apparently smoking is allowed and the adjacent renters were avid smokers.

Hi Bobby, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. We are sorry to hear that the unit did not meet your expectations. We price our property competitively to reflect its current state while we actively work through our planned renovation timeline. Over the past eight months, we have updated the flooring, furniture, windows, and sliding doors. Cosmetic items like the peeling trim paint, followed by updates to the fully functional kitchen and bathrooms, are next on our schedule. We have followed up with our cleaning associates regarding the toiletries, and they confirmed that the standard inventory was provided for unit 644 upon your arrival. Regarding the club cards, we do state directly in the listing description that these are not available with our property. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the neighbors, though neighbor conduct is unfortunately outside of our control.
