Extended family stay

After spending a week at Lake George we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Plenty to do in the area and on site. We could easily walk to town and could rent kayaks, paddle boards, and a pontoon boat from the site. The property is well managed. Lake George is a gem and the stay was 10/10!

Such a wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful time. The staff here is incredible -- friendly, helpful, always accessible. And the property is well kept and well stocked. We came with our whole family with kids from age 20 to 3 and had a wonderful time. We highly recommend it!

Older but perfect location

Mike was quick to respond to all my questions and has a GREAT team who looked after our every need. Amber and Dominic who are working at the motel for the Summer, were super sweet and jumped to help us with absolutely everything. The home is older and is connected to the office and living quarters of Amber and Dominic. There are several other motel rooms on the property. It is quiet. The three bedrooms are actually layed out like this- Two queens in a fairly good size room with bathroom, 1 double/full bed in a small room with bathroom and one bedroom with a double/full bed all located upstairs. There is a bathroom on the first level where the living room, dining room and kitchen are. There are lots of outdoor patio/porch areas to sit and socialize, some private and others not private. The air conditioning is window units in each bedroom and in the living room, the kitchen has a floor fan. We could not sleep in a double/full bed, so, Amber arranged a twin to be brought into our small bedroom and we made it work. The living room area has a old smell, we bought a air deodorizer, but, it didn't really help. Location, location, location! The beach is awesome, clean and well equipped with Adirondack chairs and loungers. You can rent paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boats and motorized boats right there. They light a wonderful firepit every night and there is a large outdoor kitchen for the motels use. There is a super fantastic fireworks display in the Summer on one night a week, and from the beach you have the perfect view! You can walk to a few restaurants and Uber is available!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was clean and worked well for our extended family vacation ( 5 adults 2 kids). There was a great outdoor place to play lawn games and a wonderful beach area. Location is wonderful! Close enough to walk Lake George village, but quiet at night. We had a great time and hope to come back again.

Had a great time and will be back soon!!!

Owner is almost always on site and ready to help all the time. Property is kept in perfect condition which makes for a very enjoyable stay. Kids enjoyed digging on the private beach. Private dock was great for our boat. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We love Shore Meadows

Shore Meadows is a beautiful property with lots amenities and located within walking distance to Lake George Village. Boat slips, SUP and kayaks are available. We enjoyed the beach area as well as making s’mores at the fire pit. Michael and his staff are always available. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Swim, relax, and take in the sun on our sandy shores of Shore Meadows while enjoying the panoramic view of Lake George. Enjoy a dip in the pool at the Balsalm Motel. Newly updated, we offer spacious rooms equipped with all of the amenities and personal, friendly service. We are a few-minutes walk from all attractions that make Lake George one of the most desirable destinations. Shore Meadows offers front row seats for the Lake George Village fireworks display every Thursday evening during July and August.
