The Space:

Hickory Haven is a 3 level custom-built log cabin on a 3 acre wooded lot including, but not limited to, granite countertops, hot tub, sauna, 2 separate sleeping areas, firepit, beautiful stone fireplace and much more.

We loved Hickory Haven. It was so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. The cabin is beautiful. Everything was so clean and felt brand new. It was decorated so well. That's something I appreciate when picking a rental. We loved it!

Counters bathroom floor was not clean properly. There was stuff all over them and one smelt like rotten eggs host stated they would empty the water tank while we were gone however, the water still smells horrible in the hot tub was extremely dirty with stuff floating all around it

Jamie, We are sorry you are disappointed with your stay and perplexed with your review, parts of which are simply not true. Lets review; First, you complained about the odor of the well water at 10 PM the night of check-in. We flushed the hot water tank the next morning which resolved the situation even though you had taken the lock box key with you causing us considerable difficulties. Second, You complained about dirty countertops and floors. Our cabins are cleaned by our cleaners and then inspected by us after cleaning and before check-in. This is simply not true. Furthermore, if it were, we live here on-site and would have been there in 10 minutes to resolve the situation if it were that bad. Instead you reported nothing and then chose to slander our business afterwords. Our cabins have an impeccable reputation for cleanliness. Lastly, Our hot tub was drained, cleaned, filled and inspected before your arrival. Again, this claim is not true either. It's worth noting that you stated you would be willing to remove this review for a full refund. Jon (Brett) Adcock

We had a great long weekend at Hickory Haven!! There was snow on the ground when we arrived which made for beautiful scenery. The front walk was shoveled along with a path to the back. Even a pathway to the fire pit and all around it was cleared. We really enjoyed the fire pit and sauna. The hot tub was enjoyed as well. This is a great, comfortable cabin. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy it!!
