Historic feel with modern conveniences! Our 1927 Bungalow has everything you need and is a 7 minute walk (through a beautiful neighborhood) from Historic Downtown Petaluma. Our town is centrally located - about a 30 minute drive to Sonoma, Point Reyes, Sebastopol and about a 45 minute drive to San Francisco, Napa and local beaches.
Our backyard is just about perfect. We have an outdoor shower and hot tub in our completely private, enclosed backyard.
Our home is located on Petaluma's historic west side. It's 5 blocks from downtown Petaluma.
The home has two bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house comfortably sleeps 4 people - perfect for two couples.
There are loads of great restaurants and bars in town to keep you happy and full.
If you choose to eat and drink at home, we have a beautiful and well-stocked kitchen with everything you would need to cook gourmet meals.
We have a dining table that folds out to seat 6 comfortably.
Our back yard is wonderful! There is seating for at least 8 people between the back deck and the pergola covered tiki bar. Perfect for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. We have outdoor string lights and solar powered tiki torches, that make the pergola extra cozy at night. We also have a grill on the back deck for those warm afternoons when it's too nice to be inside.
Our back deck has a private, beautifully tiled outdoor shower and a built in hot tub both only a few steps out the back door of the home.
The living room has a gas fireplace and a sectional sofa. There's a hidden tv above the fireplace.
In addition, we have a separate studio/media room behind the main house with a flat screen tv, and two relax the back recliners for your comfort. There are huge french doors that open to the garden from this studio/media room. If you are working remotely, we have a lovely desk in the studio/media room that faces that garden.
Guests have access to everything in the home except the garage.
While we love children, our home and yard is not very kid friendly. There are too many obstacles that could cause them harm. We will consider well behaved dogs but let's discuss them first.
Our neighborhood was built in the 1920's and all homes and properties are well cared for. The homes are situated close to one another but our back yard is extremely private and pet friendly (fully enclosed). This isn't the place for a big party. It's a place to relax, unwind and enjoy.
The west side of Petaluma is mostly historic homes from the 1800's to the mid 1900's. You won't need your car if you are wanting to do things in Petaluma. We are walkable to most every restaurant or bar.
