NEW ONLINE LISTING: Owned by Hampden-Sydney College, there are five Cottages at The Manor Golf Course. With spacious verandas overlooking beautiful views of the rolling hills of a 1,000 acre estate, the Cottages are just minutes away from Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College, and the town of Farmville.

Located in the historic heart of Prince Edward County in south central Virginia, The Cottages are just an hour's drive or less from Charlottesville, Richmond and Lynchburg.

This unit is part of a duplex. Side B includes a kitchenette, bedroom and bath with private keyless entry.

A two-night minimum is required and a fourteen-night maximum is enforced. Currently accepting reservations up to six months in advance. Our turn-days are Monday – Friday, we do not turn units on Saturday or Sunday.

Exterior security camera on property. Furniture and bedding updates occurring in Summer 2025, with improvements to continue into Summer 2026.

Animals are strictly prohibited in Cottage 100 A or 100 B, even as visitors. We welcome animal guests in Cottage 102, 104, and 106.

The duplex was actually a cottage/house with a bedroom locked from the house. Theres a huge crack between floor & room so lots of noise from house tenants. The floor creaked a lot from house tenants. The living room was on other side of bedroom door and you could hear the tv through the crack. The walls are thin (like a house) so you could hear them talking in the wall behind the bed. A covering over the entry door would’ve been nice to give one privacy from others looking in.The “veranda” is actually a porch entryway. This unit doesn’t have access to the back veranda/patio that overlooks the acreage. This porch overlooked the mansion and trashcan next door.Coat hangers would’ve been nice, but we bought some and left them for you;)Bed was super comfy!! Unit very clean. Freshly remodeled. Quiet (until house tenants arrived). We even seen baby deer on the property at night from outside the bedroom window. The tv was tiny. Something a little bigger to be seen from bed would be nice.The desk next to bed didn’t have a chair. The other side of the bed didn’t have a nightstand.Room had its own ac unit. So it was nice to control the temp myself.
