Sweet Haven 4 Bedroom, Wildflower Meadow, Woods, Trails, Charming Stockholm, WI

Escape to this lovely home nestled in a 5 acre wildflower meadow and surrounded by wooded hills. Enjoy nature, birds, critters, trees, flowers, fireflies, and starlit nights by the backyard fire.
We are located in the famous picturesque tiny Village of Stockholm, WI. Stockholm is rated as The Coziest Small Town in America, it has the Best Pie Shop in America, and it's located on the Great River Road in the heart of the Driftless Area and is considered to be the Most Scenic Drive in North America.
The property sleeps 10 with 3 bedrooms in the house, a hide a bed in the living room, and a cottage with a queen bed. The 1st floor hide a bed is well suited for those with limited mobility.
This lovely retreat offers a comfortable stay for guests with 2 bathrooms in the house and an outhouse, a large gathering room in the garage, and many wonderful outdoor spaces to explore or gather.
There are both indoor and outdoor games for young and old, also Internet, WiFi, TV and some DVDs. The home has a well stocked kitchen, 2 refrigerators, with serving, dining, and seating spaces in the house, on the patios and in the garage. Please bring your own food and beverages.
We hope that you enjoy our home and remind you that we don't allow pets, no parties, or noisy gatherings, and no smoking except outdoors.
Our meadow is planted with wildflowers and it's home to some rare and endangered plants and animals and we ask that you stay on the trails.
Thank You for your respect and understanding!

We absolutely loved this sweet haven home away from home!! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and dishes a guest would need. The property was peaceful and relaxing and smelled so sweet with all the wildflowers blooming! All the little details in the decor was a delight. The area has so much to offer for hiking, kayaking and shopping. The trip around Lake Pepin has something for everyone.

If you want to go to Stockholm, Sweden, and don’t have the money for the trip, consider instead a trip to Stockholm, Wisconsin on the Mississippi river. We stayed at Sweet Haven a wonderful stay in what felt like a Swedish enclave of old buildings and a new energy efficient house that looks as old. I stayed myself in a small cabin. It had everything except running water, but it did have a sink and a cistern, and since I lived in a log cabin for 15 years without power, it didn’t bother me one bit. I had a wonderful stay, the rest of my family enjoyed their stay in the big house. I loved it. Two of the folks were from North Carolina. They were enthralled with everything that it provided. We hardly recommend sweet Haven for your vacation.
