Thank you so much for your review. We sincerely regret not providing additional information outside of the guest book regarding the shared amenities. We liken the common area fishing/boating dock, firepits, gazebo picnic areas, and concrete pad play area (which we are outfitting this week for use as a pickle ball / tennis court when not rented as an event venue) to shared areas in any other vacation spot where a pool, a lake or picnic areas are shared - but we did read your review and take it seriously, and appreciate the honest feedback. Unfortunately, we are only allowed a maximum number of words per listing description, but are reviewing where we can make additional notes regarding our common area amenities in advance of guest arrival, right now, We regret that you didn't feel better informed in advance. We truly value your patronage and only want our guests to have the best experience, and can only improve with real guest feedback such as yours. In truth, our rentals are new to the market and your stay was the first time we also had a rental in the house next to yours. We erred in not perceiving well that sharing such a long 120' dock would pose any issues with anyone. But, now that we are aware of what you raised as a concern, we are taking immediate measures to resolve this for future guests.
