Experience Cayuga like a local in this 2-bedroom bed & breakfast. This adorable property features 1 queen bed and 1 full bed, perfect for a tranquil getaway. Enjoy the pleasant bathroom amenities including a hair dryer and bathtub. With WiFi, AC, and heating, guests can relax and unwind in this cozy retreat. A great place to call homebase while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay.
We are a traditional Beb & Breakfast which means you will wake up stress free to a served breakfast in the dining room.You have the place to yourself and don't have to worry about sharing space with any other guests. We take one reservation at a time. This means you get the attention you deserve while away with your family and/or friends. Please note that there is no access to the kitchen due to our Bed & Breakfast traditional ways. You have a coffee nook with a microwave and small refrigerator. You also have access to the BBQ on the patio. We supply all the grilling utensils, paper products, cups and plastic utensils.
Enjoy a nice board game out on the patio or in the dining room. Can't wait to see you!!

The communication prior to arrival was excellent and helpful. Yet upon arrival it is apparent that you are sharing the hosts home with them, this is not clearly stated in listing. Upon arrival we could hear loud snoring in one of the rooms marked private. There are private tags all over the space; doors, drawers, closets, bathroom mirror. We felt like we were invading someone's home. The bed was comfortable, but the furniture and decor is worn and dated. The rules on the desk state quiet hours are 10 pm to 7am, but laying in bed after 10 pm there were loud neighbors that were close by. In the middle of the night we woke to the smell of cigarette smoke, footsteps and muffled talking. There is parking but the driveway had cars and a boat taking up most of the driveway, our late arrival was a bit tricky for parking. The host did leave a front light on for the entrance. The host left us a grab and go breakfast because we were leaving early, she did open a private door as we were exiting to introduce herself. The listing should clearly state that you are staying and sharing the host's home. We felt very uncomfortable with the feeling of being watched but not knowing where and who was just the other side of a private door. This was the most uncomfortable vrbo experience I have had.

We had a wonderful restful day in a cozy pleasant environment with beautiful views. Because we had to be at graduation early as one of our grandsons graduated as chiropractor Tara offered to make breakfast earlier, but we insisted we were having yogurt when she brought over an abundance of breakfast treats, beside yogurt, sandwiches, bananas, oranges, and blueberry muffins. what a delightful surprise. We would definitely recommend Tara's Bed and Breakfast. Enjoy! Paul and Ida
