The villa was beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. The pool was amazing, we swam in it everyday. The rooftop was beautiful, and captured the breeze. The villa is perfectly located, the neighborhood is safe and the beach, the grocery store, shops and restaurants are all a 5-10 minute walk. Indie is very special, she truly wants to see everyone have a good time. She made cocktails that were delicious. I tried to replicate them but she has the gift for making that Rum cocktail. Indie prepared breakfast for us everyday and a dinner one night. She is an excellent chef, everything she prepared was delicious. She surprised us with an anniversary cake to celebrate. Indie also had great advice about where to eat, which beaches to visit, where to buy snorkeling gear, etc.. thank you Indie, we will see you again soon.

Property was at a good location. No AC on the first floor and only one fan which made it extremely hot during the day. Host was very welcoming. Had 2 meals cooked by her which were incredible, highly recommend. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The house was nice and everyone loved the pool. Joe and Indi were wonderful host of their home. It was close to beach and some restaurants. Loved that aIndi took care of anything we needed. The grandkids thought she was there just for them. :) Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Great stay

Had an amazing time and our hostess was great. Beautiful home and the pool was wonderful. I would recommend this for larger groups who want their own privacy while staying together. The roof top patio was a great addition to our stay.

Spectacular Home with Gracious Host

This amazing home was the center of a fabulous vacation for our family of 6 adults. We ventured out to the many beaches, the aquarium, the ostrich farm, the Carnival parade, casino and restaurants. No matter where we went, we always looked forward to returning home to the beautiful pool for a swim, to the rooftop to watch the sunset or lounge in the hammocks, or the many comfortable rooms to relax. Indi was an amazing host and ensured our every need was met. It was a fabulous experience for us all!

Our family of 14 recently stayed at Joe and Indi’s beautiful home (Dec 27-Jan 4). Well is it a home or an amazing palace? Their home is beyond beautiful and the space is amazing. From large corridors, to the beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, to the outdoor dining space, to the pool and outside bar. It was absolutely exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. As stated in the vrbo listing, they do live on the property. I saw one review of younger adults who did not like the closeness of the owners on the property whom you may see on a daily basis; however, their presence did not bother us. They are both extremely kind and caring. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Curacao to book this phenomenal palace for their stay. Short walk to Jan Thiel beach and the fabulous Zanzibar restaurant. Plus a shop down the road (pricey but if you need something it is convenient).We stayed during this busy holiday week in Curacao. Being completely transparent and only due to the holiday week, the fireworks on a nightly basis would rock this neighborhood. I guess we never realized how much they love their fireworks. We had a few issues with appliances during our stay. Joe replaced the microwave immediately for us; however, their fridge was not working properly and was shocking us. I would hope in the future they have time to update the appliances because the space is amazing and needs appliances to match the beautiful home. I really have never stayed in an vrbo this b

An amazing get away that still felt like home

This was a destination birthday celebration for my 60th birthday with friends. Indi greeted us at the door and ushered us into her lovely home and we immediately settled in. The property is just as beautiful as the pictures except they don't show the lovely sea breeze and amazing sunsets. If you can, make sure to get one of the specially prepared meals, we felt like royalty eating in the outdoor dining room as the sun went down.This was truly a trip of a lifetime and I feel I have a new friend in Curaçao!

Beautiful Getaway

I stayed here with a large group of friends for a birthday celebration and it was a beautiful, large space with plenty of room for the full group to enjoy and make the house our own. The rooftop was perfect to enjoy in the evenings and the pool and pool bar area provided a great place to entertain. Indi was a gracious and generous host, helping with many questions before we even got to Curacao giving recommendations for our trip. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and made sure we enjoyed our celebrations! The house was very clean and she helped us keep the kitchen and common areas tidy as well. Look forward to returning to Villa Indijo again in the future!

Heaven

Wonderful luxury villa with all the amenities and a short stroll to the beach. Great pool, house, landscaping and an awesome rooftop where you can hang and/or party. The hostess is also an excellent chef so be sure to order her jerk chicken and goat stew and if you're lucky you may get to try her parathas too. Our family had an awesome time in a safe, secure and serene place. This is a great place to enjoy your stay and explore Curacao.

Could Not Have Been Better

The property was beautiful! As nice as the VRBO pictures are, they actually didn’t do the home justice! The home was impeccable. Indie was the most gracious host-welcoming and wonderful! We had her prepare two meals for our family and both were amazing! We also enjoyed chatting with her and did not find her the least bit intrusive! We can not wait to go back to Villa Indijo again very soon!

Vacationing in style

Travelling with 4 adult couples, it's hard to please everyone, but when we came across Villa Indijo, the pictures caught everyone's attention. Seeing it in person is just as spectacular. Combine the beauty of the property, with the owners hospitality and it's a perfect combination. The property has it all. Space to meet, talk and play as a group, and enough room where small groups can have their provacy. Spectacular ocean views, and even a gym to maintain morning workouts. The owner was always available with suggestions for things to see and do, or to cook us a restaurant worthy meal. We had 8 adults, but the house is set up in a way that a couple a few kids could have came with. It beats staying in any hotel, and Indi,(the owner) is the most gracious host. Highly recommend it to anyone looking visit.

Beyond Dreamy

There’s not enough words to describe how wonderful our vacation was because of host, Indi! We were greeted at the door with a fabulous smile and hugs! The house is stunning! Indi is a chef and offers many options, we got the charcuterie board and cocktails upon arrival, a beautiful birthday brunch the next morning for my daughter, two incredible dinners (best we had on the island was at Villa Indijo), and an amazing departing Caribbean breakfast the morning we were leaving. Indi arranged massages for us at the villa which was sooo relaxing! She is very knowledgeable and had some incredible advice to help us navigate the island. Love the property and the hostess to pieces. We can’t wait for our next visit! ❤️❤️

We had originally planned to stay at an all-inclusive resort, but due to unexpected water damage, we had to make a last-minute change and booked this VRBO home instead—and honestly, it turned out to be a great experience.The house was beautiful, with a lovely pool that we really enjoyed. The atmosphere felt relaxing and private, which was a nice change of pace. Our host was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and an excellent cook! She really went above and beyond to make us feel at home.The main living area didn’t have air-conditioning, and without any fans, it did get quite hot, especially during the day, even with the breeze from the open windows and doors. We also encountered quite a few mosquitoes in the kitchen area since there aren’t any screens on the windows, which made things a bit uncomfortable at times. Each bedroom had an AC so we were comfortable at night, which is more important to us, since we spent most of the days in the pool or at the beach. The property is a 5 minute walk to Jan Theil beach which had many restaurants, shops and a grocery store. It’s a great little community with everything you need within walking distance. We had a great time and were happy with how everything turned out, especially given the last-minute change. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a more personal and cozy stay and we would certainly stay here again if we were to return to Curacao!

Fantastic host and beautiful home!

We absolutely loved Indi and her home! It is so beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice! The pool is gorgeous and we spent so much time in it. There were several floats to use as well. We had Indi cook dinner and a birthday breakfast and both were amazing! She also arranged for a beautiful cake for my birthday! She arranged a private boat snorkel with a BBQ and some of the best massages we have ever had (on the rooftop)! I would 100% stay here again! Before we left she made us an Indian recipe snack that was so delicious. We enjoyed the size of the home - we had 4 couples and everyone had their own room and bathroom. They provided all the things we needed and then some! Indi was very responsive if we needed anything. The rooftop view is stunning! We did walk to Jan Theil beach - good snorkeling and we ate lunch at Zest. Go early as it gets extremely busy. Highly recommend this home and host!

fabulous venue for a group - dushi & bon bini

Even though we arrived ahead of the others at 11:30 PM, Indi was waiting for us and made us feel very welcome. The home itself is gorgeous with plenty of space to gather as a group or spend a bit of time alone. It is so airy that we never put on the a/c. The beach, stores, restaurants, and the grocery store are a couple of minutes walking time. You don't need a car once you get there if you don't want to rent one. The rooftop terrace was the perfect spot for cocktails at night. The gourmet kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware, etc. We loved eating and drinking coffee in the poolside cabana. The neighborhood is very quiet even though it is so close to everything. Indi made us feel like visiting family members. We were all sad to leave her. She is a amazing cook so make sure you have at least one meal catered by her.

Girls Trip

It was a group of 8 women and we had a great time! From the time we booked to our arrival we were in communication with the host and all of our questions were answered. Indi cooked 2 amazing meals for us.. we are still talking about how good the food was. The home was gorgeous just like the photos In terms of locations, we were about 20mins from the places we wanted to go. It was ok since we rented cars (a must to get around). The grocery store however was in walking distance from the home which is very convenient. We had small mishaps but not enough to go into details as they were addressed immediately. Indi and/or stuff comes by daily for service. If that’s not something you want, I would speak to the host directly regarding expectations. Indi and her assistant was super sweet and respectful. We are now her Dushis :-) Thank you for having us

Villa Indijo is *the way* to enjoy a group Curaçao trip

Curaçao in general is a dream vacation, with top-tier beaches, fine dining, plenty of activities, and a hospitable and fun population; but Villa Indijo sends the stay into the stratosphere! The home is comfortably appointed and spacious, with an outstanding garden and decadent outdoor living areas, including a large pool, bar, multiple dining spaces and large 360-view rooftop for sunbathing, sunset viewing and stargazing. There is a professional kitchen and large TV and sitting area, but I can't imagine you'd spend your vacation there, given the options! The location is walkable to the market and high-end resorts with beach amenities and activities, restaurants and night life. Renting a car ensures you can also enjoy west end beaches, national parks, Willemstad attractions and night food carts. Finally, it would be a *huge* oversight to not request a few meals by Indy. Her skills are on par with fine dining establishments in NYC, SF, Lisbon and Paris, and better yet, none of that infamous multi-hour dinner wait the Caribbean is known for! Five star vacation for us.

Beautiful house and even better host

We had an amazing stay at Villa Indijo. We we were greeted immediately by smiling faces of Indi and Joe as we arrived. The pictures really do no justice on how beautiful the villa truly is. We had a total of 8 people on the trip, 4 couples. It was great that each couple had their own rooms, bathroom and balcony. Indi and Joe both offered to help us get our groceries back to the villa and when we called jo came to not only grab the groceries, he took us back to the villa as well. Even prior to our trip, communication with them was great. We decided to have Indi prepare two dinners for us. Let me say, both dinners were amazing. She went above and beyond what was promised. Do yourself a favor and have her prepare a few meals. Anything we needed they were there to assist. An added bonus was have daily housekeeping and they live in a side apartment. Although they live on the property they never intruded on our privacy. I could go on and on about the villa but I will just say it was worth every penny and we will definitely be back to stay. Quiet location, about 20- 25 mins from the airport. I would suggest renting a car as taxi service on the island is very expensive. Everything you need though is within walking distance (restaurants, grocery store and beach).

Friends, fun and food!

Indijo's location is very convenient to most everything to do in and around the central town and a quick walk to Jan Thiel beach. Indi was a great hostess, providing us a warm welcome and always available to give us suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We took advantage of having her make a meal for us one night and were not disappointed! We even experienced some local fare with Indi's assistance. Overall the property matches the description. The pool is so delightful and the rooftop is a must do. We didn't have good sunsets while on island, but I can imagine they'd be spectacular with the 360 degree views. I would only note that there was not a dryer, but the clothes line and the ongoing trade winds were just as good of an option. Thanks Indi and Joe!

Absolute Paradise

This gorgeous property far exceeded all our expectations, and was the perfect vacation spot for our two families of four. It is located in an upscale and safe neighborhood of the island, just a five minute walk to Jan Thiel beach (and the Papagayo beach club with all its amenities). The house itself is stunning, nicer than the lovely pictures. We rented two cars for the week, utilizing the gated parking. The pool is immaculate, well maintained, with a bar, refrigerator, Bluetooth speaker, and ample sunchairs. The 4 kids (ages 6-9) spent entire afternoons playing in the pool, and enjoying Netflix on the flatscreen TV in the living room. Each spacious bedroom is apportioned with an en-suite bathroom, and the beds comfortable. The house was spotless and well-maintained. The housekeeper cleaned and did laundry 3 times during the week, a welcome surprise. The rooftop is a gem - we would toast the gorgeous sunset over the ocean every evening. Indi was a warm and welcoming host. She was very responsive to WhatsApp messages, and not all intrusive. She was full of great recommendations and her cooking is simply sublime. We organized a home cooked feast upon arrival, which was on par with the best restaurants on the island. She graciously organized a second dinner, which was better than the first. There was ample leftovers for lunch, I highly recommend taking advantage of her cooking services. She even stocked the kitchen/bar for us prior to arrival. Beautiful but not private

The home was gorgeous and looked exactly as the pictures represented. However, this is not a private property as described when booking as the owner stays on the premises. Had i known that, i would have booked somewhere else. Other than that, the home was beautiful to stay in, just no privacy.

Villa IndiJo is a definite IndiGO!!

I’ll start with the basics: The pictures are accurate, what you see is what you get. The location is perfect; a 10 minute walk from the beach and a small, but well stocked, supermarket, and the rooms and gorgeous roof, all have beautiful views over the neighborhood all the way to the water. Well tended, this home is an oasis. Now, what’s special! Your hosts!! Indi and Joe. Two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Kind, generous, and fantastic hosts. Here’s a great example. We had some extraordinary delays on arrival at the airport so we got the house 3 hours later than we thought we would. Not only we’re they reaching out to us, but Indi insisted on making us dinner before bed. What was an originally difficult day, turned into a warm and lovely evening. Indi’s cooking was varied and special. I’d suggest having dinner or breakfast at the house at least once(or three times :)) They can tell you where to go, what to see, and where to eat. And, at the end of the day, when you come back from your trips, you feel like you are coming home. 5 Stars for Villa IndiJo!!!

Paradise

After reading a lot of reviews, all excellent, I wondered could they all be true. I have to say that Joe and Indy(the hosts) and this amazing house exceeded every expectation. The house was perfect large beautiful great pool a lot of areas for relaxing and entertaining and the rooftop is unbelievable overlooking the entire Caribbean Sea. As hosts Joe and Indy went above and beyond providing meals, information, and everything and anything we needed All we had to do was ask. When you combine the beautiful island with the beautiful house we stayed in and these beautiful people who hosted us it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip that we hope to repeat every year They even arranged for masseuses to come to the house for me and my wife! We will definitely come back and we would definitely stay in this house again A +++rating

Great House and great host

I couldn’t ask for a better trip. House was outstanding and The hosts were amazing. Included a 5 start chef and the perks of luxury living.
