This cosy, sunny house on the outskirts of Kalamos village is situated on a private 5,65m2 land, among olive trees and vineyards. A place for serenity and tranquillity, just a breath away from Chora, Kapsali and the most beautiful beaches of the island!
Stylishly furnished and equipped with all modern amenities, this spacious house consists of a large living space with fireplace and a kitchen, a two-floor bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 WC and 2 private balconies. It can accommodate up to 5 people as follows: • 4 people (2+2) in a two-floor room divided by wooden floor-ceiling, who share 1 bathroom and 1 WC. • 1 person on a large comfortable build sofa, located in the living room.
Free private parking is available on the premises, which the guests are welcome to use. Every year we cultivate melons, watermelons and beans in the field, which the guests are welcome to taste fresh, directly from the land.
This is a bioclimatic house that is always breezy, even during the hottest summer months. We hope you enjoy your air condition-free holidays here!
The house is equipped with large water tank that can supplement for the days of drought on the island and electrical generator that can cover all needs of the house in case of a power outage.

I am married to Dimitris, with whom we have 3 children and a grand-daughter! When we are not relaxing in our summer house in Kythera, we travel the world, explore new recipes, learn how to cultivate fruits and vegetables in our garden or just enjoy good company with friends and family.

The house is conveniently located in the south part of the island, on the outskirts of a small traditional village called Kalamos. It’s close proximity to Chora (capital of Kythera), Kapsali (most vibrant village of the island) and the most beautiful beaches of the island (sandy or pebble), make its location unique.
For small grocery shopping, a mini-market is located in walking distance from the house, where you can also find a traditional restaurant.
If you enjoy trekking, you can find smaller or longer distance trails around the area.
