I'm Marcelo — born and raised in Salvador, with childhood memories rooted in the neighbourhood of Macaúbas (just next to Pelourinho). As a teenager, I used to go to Pelourinho to practice English with tourists — it was there that I first started dreaming about the world. Though I now live in London, my heart has never left Bahia. Salvador is more than where I’m from — it’s part of who I am.
ZN Barra is my way of staying connected to this city and sharing it with you. I created this space with love and care, so you can feel truly at home — whether you're here to relax, explore, or even work remotely. The apartment includes a peaceful workspace, fast Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
As a community person, shaped by Salvador’s culture and warmth, I believe in hospitality that is kind, respectful, and welcoming. My hope is that you feel safe, at ease, and inspired here — just as I did growing up in this city.
