From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right decision by booking a Vrbo instead of a hotel. Before my arrival, I had been in touch with Elizabeth, the host, since I was arriving late at night. My flight was delayed, and I ended up arriving closer to midnight than I had anticipated. Elizabeth kindly waited up to ensure I found the place. She turned on the heat for me, prepared a snack basket (which included wine), and stocked the fridge with essentials for the next morning, including milk, juice, eggs, bread, coffee, and tea. The cottage itself is charming, decorated with a delightful farm theme throughout. From the barn-shaped salt and pepper shakers to the donkey-shaped toilet paper holder, everything is incredibly cute. The living area even has real paper books on horses! Nestled between the barn and the pasture, the cottage is situated on a working farm. I absolutely loved drinking my tea in the morning while watching the horses and donkeys roam around. The cottage offers all the amenities of city living. There is a Keurig, Wi-Fi that is fast enough to support Zoom calls, and cable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and snacks. The comfortable sofa in the living area also pulls out into a bed. Although I was traveling alone, the cottage is spacious enough to accommodate a small family. I would highly recommend this charming cottage. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and as if I were at home away from home.
