Annual Trip

We used this property for our annual trip to Anaheim. It has a lot of space and beds for everyone to sleep comfortably and the owner is quick to respond to any questions you may have.

Great stay

We had a larger group traveling for the Rose Bowl and had a good time at the property. It is older but well maintained, and had everything we needed. Very easy to communicate with, and even allowed us to check in an hour early. Thanks for the hospitality!

This place was better than I anticipated! I had family flying in from out of state, and I wanted some thing where we would all fit comfortably. This place felt like home and Barbara was very communicative which I appreciated.

Our ohana vacation

Coming all the way from Hawaii and staying at this property was awesome.. it felt like home for my family and everything was just the way it was expected kids enjoyed the pool. Everything was right down the road from the house it was only a 5 minute drive to things that we need. I would definitely stay here again… and manager was always available when we needed her…

Huntington Beach Trip

The property is in a very nice location. The property manager is very sweet and easy to work with. The only issue we had with the property was the beds, they weren't the most comfortable. Otherwise, it was nice having a hot tub and pool; and to be close to Huntington beach.

Loved it!!

We had a group of 18 inc. 8 adults 10 children ages 6 to 17 we loved it, the property owner is awesome we love her ❤️, the kids loved having their own private pool and the adults loved the hot tub, plenty of room for all of us. Walmart and food places close by and it is like 20 minutes to disneyland one way or 20 minutes to the beach the other way depending on traffic but all in all we want to go back and stay again some day!!

Big spacious home

This was a wonderful home for a big family of 16! Loved that the house is so spacious, room with bunk beds is great for the kids. Great heat and AC for the home, works well. Owner is so accomodating, and helpful for instant questions via text. Pool is big and great for the summer, lots of outdoor chairs and bbq available to use. It does need some modernization on windows, you can feel the cool air come in and some minor pests in kitchen need to be taken care of. Would definitely stay again with a large family.

Amazing Getaway in Orange County

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities that you could ever possibly think of. It is a home that looks even better in person. The moment you walk in you are greeted by the sight of the pool through the large open layout windows by the back of the house. All the rooms are upstairs and the downstairs area is for the common space to enjoy and hangout with friends and family. The host Barbara was a great and extremely kind, she communicated all the information that was needed. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a space to stay comfortably that also provides entertainment. One note, please read all closing instructions and responsibilities and make sure you and your group clean after yourselves thoroughly and everything will be smooth sailing! 10/10 Vrbo listing!

Family vacation 2023

The house had what we needed for our short stay. We only spent our nights sleeping there & the weather was cold so we didn’t get to try out the hot tub or pool available. Barb was quick to respond to messages. The only thing that we had any issues with was that the washer did not work well. That posed a problem with trying to get laundry finished. The check out list has you doing all the towels and bedding before checkout at 11 which is not feasible when you sleep in the beds and are leaving for travel early. We did what we could before we left.

Home was not clean

The pool was great which compensated for the cleanliness of the home. When there are roaches there is a problem. We wiped down kitchen cupboards because of crumbs and greasy pans. We loved all of the movies available and the pool table. We were disappointed that the first two days there were no garbage bags, and toilet paper. No actual soap in the showers. The neighborhood and location were great. We picked this home because of the price so I guess you get what you pay for. We still had a great vacation in Tustin.

We had a great time but beware of cockroaches!

There were about 11 of us plus our 2 dogs. We LOVED that we were able to have our dogs here, LOVED the fully fenced backyard they had, LOVED the space we had inside, and LOVED LOVED the pool and hot tub! The beds weren't the most comfy and the cockroaches really had me stressed! We planned on grocery shopping and cooking most our meals at the house, but after finding dead ones in fridge and silverware drawer, we ate out and ubered in mostly. I have a bit of a phobia so them running around was stressful, we paid around $3000 or close to it for 5 nights there, but we didn't let it ruin our vacation. We would stay there again if it wasn't switching to minimum 30 day rental after the first. Barbara came by to clean the pool filter one morning and seemed close by if we had any problems, she was quick to answer a text. So overall 4 stars and my kids really loved it!

Not what we expected

We had a group of 18. A pretty even divide of adults and children ranging from 13 to 1 year olds. We were very excited as this house had everything we were looking for. Unfortunately when we got inside that was not the case. The house was infested with cockroaches. They were all over the kitchen. That’s an absolute no for my group. We checked in at around 2 in the morning and left/checked out by 3am. It was a long night to say the least or morning I should say. The owner was nice but seemed to want us to brush off the fact that there was a roach problem and with the amount of little ones we had it was just not possible for us to not acknowledge. There were also quite a bit of dust clusters and spider webs throughout the house suggesting the “cleaning” of the house wasn’t very thorough.

Nightmare health hazard and misrepresentation of listing

100s of Cockroaches in the kitchen were found in the middle of the night all over the food. They advertise a pristine pool in the pictures in the listing but when we arrived we were met with a giant green algae bloom instead. There was toxic black mold in the bathroom. The owner when made aware of these conditions made excuses but did refund us partially but we only stayed 1 night and she charged us for 2 nights including the cleaning fee. When we called VRBO to report the owner and the condition of the property and ask for a refund they refused because we didn’t take pictures of the cockroaches in the dark at midnight. But we did submit pictures of the pool condition and the mold in the bathroom. We spent our entire first day trying to look for last minute accommodations. P.S. I am a 5 star rated VRBO customer and this is how they treat you. Stay as far away as you can from this property. Buyer beware.

Concerns

Barbara was very nice PRIOR to our stay. It changed when we arrived. There were cockroaches and a mouse in the house. She informed us to use the Zevo spray for the bugs. When asking about the mouse in the house, she blamed us for leaving the sliding door open. No trap or anything was provided to help with the mouse. The second day, one of the shower heads broke. She said it would be at least a day before someone could repair it. We suggested she buy the shower head and my husband would install it which he did. The pool looked green with algae so we inquired about that too since we had our little grandchildren swimming. When one of my adult sons inquired about all the concerns, she commented that “He was interesting” and she “would pray for him.” The house was in a nice area but too many convening issues to ignore. We were also required to wash and dry all bedding and towels before leaving. Not sure why there is a cleaning fee if you have to do it yourself. Would not recommend nor return. It is important to give specifics on our stay to help others. It’s too much money to spend for a subpar experience.

Won’t be returning

Everything seemed so great, but then we started noticing things here and there. The pool was green, she had a roach problem, owner made us uncomfortable staying there, so much more.The owner basically was there everyday, she would come do the pool everyday and I have a pool everything she was doing was unnecessary it was more of invading privacy, I swear she was probably even there when we were asleep. I didn’t mind her even coming for the food she left in the fridge for herself, then she was telling me about her religion, I’m Native the last thing I need is someone pushing their religious beliefs on me. Then she wanted us up and out early I think check out was supposed to be at 11:00, she wanted to be there a 9:00am to strip the bedding but we were gonna be on the road so we tried to sleep in as long as possible, but she came and even though we were technically still occupying the place she just walked in and she got mad at us for not sleeping under the top comforter, like lady we were tired from walking all day we brought our own blankets so we just feel asleep, so she got mad she had to wash the comforters now too. So we’re they not clean during my stay, why would they not be cleaned anyway right?? Then she got mad at us for not stripping the beds, but she said she was coming to do that why would we, what’s the point of paying the cleaning fees if they have to clean it, and we left her home spotless, maybe even better then when we got there, cause of her roach situation.

NEVER GOING BACK

Poor communication skills of the property owner. She was not readily available to answer questions. I asked her multiple times about the check-in process and she didn't answer my question until weeks later, just a few days before checking in. And from the beginning she wouldn't give me the address of the property even though I already paid for the reservation. The house is poorly maintained, weak shower pressure due to water escaping through the tub faucet wasting 3/4 of water being used. The house features a billiard table that's barely functional, only five year old kids would enjoy. The table wobbles when leaned on, the pocket holes have holes on 3 or 4 of them and the sticks are broken. The Oven didn't work on the first day, we waited for hours but it didn't heat up. The swimming pool is supposed to be heated but it was only 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit at best. Non of us went swimming. And here's the kicker...I've never heard of this before but... She wanted us to clean the house and... Wash the bedsheets and comforters on the beds we slept on. Why exactly did I pay the cleaning fee for if I'll be the one to clean the whole house anyways? But she was nice enough to offer her house at a discounted price for next time if I contact her directly and not go through VRBO so the she wouldn't pay the VRBO fees. Is that legal?

Beautiful home and I'm so excited to come stay here again! Much Luv!

Beautiful home, just as described and even more! The neighborhood felt safe, lots of parking, nearby park, and local stores. Family friendly, clean, well kept, spacious, wood floors, carpets, rugs. Was able to watch the kids in all sections as it connects into one big layout. From as you enter the home, the living room, play area, dining area, kitchen, pool table, garage. 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a half bath. Living room-TV with cable, DVDs, and seating. Comfy couches n chairs, floor fold up twin mattress/couch, floor pillows. Kid area-The play area was perfect for the little ones. Lots of toys. Dining room-lots of seating. Loved how we were all able to sit and be part of the kitchen as well. 2 huge dining tables. Pool Table-perfect for the teens and adults. We were able to engage in all the areas of downstairs all at one and not feel separated. Theres also a TV in there and an exit to the backyard. Swimming pool/Jacuzzi/backyard-way bigger than expected. Lots of room! There's a dog area, kids corner, jacuzzi, BBQ and grass area. Kids loved how big the outdoor space was and able to hang out in different sections. Lots of pool toys in the bin. Kitchen-big space with lots of appliances, utensils and storage available. No need to bring anything. Everything provided just like home (ex: spices, ziplocks, foil, food containers, all the kitchen needs). Refrigerator/freezer is clean with plenty of storage. Big stove, lots of counter space, big sink. Garage-plenty of room in the garage as well to hang out. Theres items for the baby and kids, folding tables, (could use more folding chairs in the garage but it wasn't a big deal cause we just took the ones from the inside and brought it in the garage just to hang out). The teens enjoyed the space so they can play their music. There's also laundry/dryer with soap. There is a door that leads backyard as well. Upstairs-stairs flowed with the open space as well. Bedrooms-big, extra towels, pillows, blankets, sheets, storageetc in every room. Beds are comfy, sheets and everything clean. TV in every room! Bathrooms - 2 full baths and half bath. All clean with provided toiletries (shampoo/conditioner). Bathrooms could use an update but not complaining. It was super clean. Extra-AC unit, fans throughout the house, linen clwith dozens of towels and stuff, extra propane, extra trash/recycle bins. Overall had a wonderfulime in the home and no complaints. Barbara is such an awesome person and communicates well.

Nice house for large groups

The house has a really nice amount of seating in the dining area. Upgrades have been done to the kitchen. It could use upgrades to the bathrooms for sure. Couch was not comfy and should be replaced. Nice neighborhood and close to stores and restaurants. Towels were older but lots available to use.

Great house

This was a great house for a family vacation! The whole family loved it!! Some unwanted guests (bugs) seemed to be a little issue but wasn’t bad. Pool was great. Barbara was great and was always in communication with me. Would definitely come back again in the future!
