Be aware

Stayed here for Christmas 2022 weekend, this property is clean but is in need of upgrades/updating. The “fully stocked” kitchen supplies is old, mismatched, or broken. Kitchen cabinet broken, downstairs bed is broken and leaning to one side, that room electrical outlets also doesn’t work. The outside grill wasn’t working, microwave was broken, the refrigerator is also a mess missing shelves. There’s nothing luxurious about this house we just made the best of it.

Amazing stay! The home is so much larger than expected from the outside.

My group had a great time staying at this house, managed by Evolve Vacation Rentals. The home was the perfect size and in a great for a long weekend trip in the , the host, was super helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Vacation!

I’m very pleased with my stay at this property. Great communication with owner. My kids loved the big house and the hot tub. The area is secluded and we had total privacy. I would stay here again.

Nice place

We enjoyed the stay. Easy to talk the owner. Everything went smooth. Game room was nice. Hottub added extra enjoy and fun to our stay. It was a nice family vacation.

Not a luxury home

We scheduled our trip as a quick escape during the Holidays with our immediate family that we haven't seen for the entire year. Upon entering the home we were kind of let down - we came in expecting a luxury home and it really isn't. There are issues with the water pressure which we discovered while we were bathing our 3 year old and she had shampoo in her hair and had to use our water bottles to wash her hair out. The owner is very responsive had someone come in an hour to fix the issue. The lock on the sliding door to the back doesn't work and you need a 2x4 down in the rail to prevent someone from opening it from the outside. There is only one thermostat for the house so once the heat is on its blazing upstairs and normal on the first floor. The game room is in the garage which has no insulation. It was 20 degrees when we came and even with the small heater they provide it was freezing. In the game room, other than the pool table and foosball table everything else is broken or not usable ( wii pad is broke, darts tips dont have wings, ping pong table was beyond gross and sticky.) The owner was going to bring a roku for us but we said he had our own so we could use that on the main tv, but all the tv's in each room are not connected to anything so pretty much useless. The TV in the game room has antenna tv so not many options at all. There aren't any board games in the house other than an incomplete jenga drinking game. There is no basement. This house does have plenty of rooms and the bathrooms had no problems ( other than the water). Overall this might be a good house for a larger group of college kids .

Amazing House

Wonderful stay!

We really had a wonderful time here! There was plenty of room for everybody, Mr. Newberry was so accommodating and helpful. We were out most of the day, and in the evenings everyone enjoyed lounging in the living room or playing in the game room. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful experience!

We really loved this house. There were six families/couples staying here and we fit very comfortably. The back yard was great...a lot of room for the kids to run around. One thing that sets this house above other ones that I've stayed is that the beds are really comfortable. The owner was also very nice and was able to be reached at all times during our stay.

Family Getaway

We go to the Poconos two times a year and this was one of the best homes we stayed in. Everything was in great condition and the house was very clean. It had all the amenities we wanted which included a hot tub, jacuzzi, a pool table that we all utilized. Also, the central air was definitely a plus. We had a total of 15 people and there was enough beds for everyone. We actually had the pleasure to meet the owners of the property. They are super friendly and made sure everything we needed was in place. Mr Newbury was always quick to reply to any questions we had, both before and during our stay. Only suggestion would be to add an extra shower since we had 15 people in the house and there were only 2 showers. It wasn’t a big issue as we were able to work around that. Our family all enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this house to everyone.
