Trying to find the property was not easy, it’s actually on a different road that when it’s listed and there’s no demarcation as to that. I had to call Vrbo to get in touch with the owner so that he could give us more detailed instructions on how to actually find the property. When we walked in it looks clean, but it smelled heavily of weed and smoke. It was so bad we couldn’t even air it out. We burned candles. It did not help. The linens, towels, bedding, all smelled of smoke. It was very uncomfortable for me and my family to sleep in that. Fortunately, we were only there to sleep. Marcus was easy to deal with, and very sweet, but I wished I had known that the property was a smoking/weed property.The pictures were not indicative of the actual property. The kitchen and the bathrooms were beautiful, as I said before, the rooms were clean, but the smell of weed was just very overpowering. There was no patio furniture on the deck, THE fire pit had no chairs around it as depicted in the picture,It was missing little amenities like tissues and garbage cans in the bathroom. It should’ve been listed as a smoking home, I feel that that was my biggest complaint. Everything I brought with me, had to be washed and aired out when I got home. paragraph like I said Marcus was very sweet and kind and maybe this was his first listing, but I hope that he learned something from this experience.
