Host cancelled booking an hour after check in time. Had us waiting at property for check in instructions until cancelled. Awful

I will never book with this host again. The host never communicated we me and canceled our reservation after we got to the property. Any booking sites need to take this property/host off their site. Horrible experience. If I could give a 0 rating I would.

The owner of this property was extremely inconsiderate. I booked the room several days in advance, and the host even messaged me beforehand confirming that everything was good to go. I asked for a phone number but never received one. After taking a 10-hour flight to Miami, I landed and started driving to the rental. I kept messaging the host asking for the phone number and additional details. Eventually, someone finally contacted me and informed me that my reservation had been canceled. I don’t understand how you tell a customer their reservation is canceled that late, especially after confirming everything beforehand. Why wasn’t I informed sooner? Because it was so last minute, most places were already booked and the remaining options were much more expensive. This situation completely disrupted my vacation plans.
