Beautiful home with everything handled to perfection. I loved the front porch swing. Spent many hours on it with coffee, a book, afternoon cocktails.The kitchen was very nice and the home had a welcoming feel when you walked in the door.We fell in love with this island. We will definitely return and I would wa t to stay in this home when we return.

Very nice cottage. Quiet. Screened in porch was especially lovely with swing and tv althoughwe never turned it on during our stay. Liked the beach chairs and umbrella so we didn’thave to rent. The listing did say it was a king bed but it was a queen bed. Would have liked some laundry detergent available. All in all was a very nice relaxing place to stay and would definitely recommend and stay there ourselves again! The co hosts responded quickly and when we wanted to have a later check out as our plane was leaving in the evening they were very willing to accommodate. One small thing that wasn't great was the ice machine didnt work at all and since it was hot during our stay the little ice that was in the machine ran out quickly

Cottage was darling! Very clean and a homey comfortable vibe. We will be back next time we are in town.Love the outdoor patio and well manicured landscaping. Huge rosemary bushes… gorgeous!

Best screened in porch!

Quiet street with easy walk to beach. Amazing porch for relaxing and enjoying the weather. A little musty in the house with effect dehumidifier and air purifier. Suspected consequence of recent hurricanes. Will book again.

St Simons Vacay

We reserved this lovely island cottage for a four day getaway. The accommodations were just as described, very clean, well stocked with nice decor. We especially liked the bed swing on the front porch. There were a few restaurants and the beach/park within walking distance. More stores and parks were a short car drive away. Our host was very accommodating and polite. Instructions on check in and directions were easily understood. We hope to return in the future.

Long weekend stay

Very clean and cozy. Nice big kitchen and dining area. We loved the location in the middle of everything going on, but still tucked away. Very interesting decor, we enjoyed each new discovery in the space. You are quite thoughtful in how it was all brought together. We will stay again:)

Spring Break

The house was perfect! Easy walk to the beach. It was even close enough for my wife to walk back and forth to the restroom. Short walk to great restaurants and not too far from downtown. The neighborhood was quiet and the back porch swing was awesome!! Wesley was great and checked in on regularly to make sure everything was okay. We would definitely try and stay here again!

Easy walk to the beach and easy 1 block walk to a couple of great seafood restaurants and quick 5 min drive to Mallory Street. Great front screened-in porch and cute house

Nice stay at St. Simons

We did have a relaxing stay and the location in proximity to the beach was very good. It’s walking distance to several restaurants and local shops so getting places was a breeze. I wouldn’t really categorize the house as a true beach house as it lacked some of the amenities that you would typically find in a beach rental. There were no hoses or outdoor showers to rinse off after going to the beach or to rinse off chairs etc. The outdoor porch was covered and was very peaceful and relaxing. However, the interior decor definitely lacks a beach feel and I wouldn’t really consider it family friendly. If you have kids, this might not be the ideal location. Rugs are animal skins, lots of breakable decor, etc. mostly a mid century modern decor which is not bad, just a little different for a beach rental. Bathrooms were nicely remodeled and we really enjoyed them. A few items I think the owner should address: -notify renters when the location is under construction. Lots of early morning drilling, tile cutting etc. is not an ideal beach getaway. -fix the door lock situation. Locks wouldn’t work at check in and we gave up on one of them through our stay and had to use just the side door. -missing door handle on bedroom 2 was a real problem. We had to use a knife to open and close the door since it latched without a handle. I would consider that a serious fire code issue that should be a priority to fix. -bedroom 1 AC unit was very noisy. We turned it off and wanted to use the ceiling fan instead. No can do because there’s no fan. Just a hole in the ceiling with exposed wires. We slept with AirPods to try to drown out the AC unit noise. -finding a pile of men’s underwear in the laundry room was an unpleasant surprise along with trash on the covered porch at check in. I think the house has lots of potential and again the proximity to the beach is great. Take our feedback at face value. We did have a nice week and appreciated the hospitality! Thanks!
