街の居心地の良いウッドランドキャビン

After living in Germany for 30 years (yes, I speak fluent German), I returned to Central Iowa and opened the White House Bed and Breakfast with European flair. I love meeting people and interacting with my guests but do also try to respect their desire for privacy. Between the Band B and the Woodland City Cabin, I have received guest from 28 US states and 7 countries.

The Woodland City Cabin was acquired as a supplement to the B and B for families, small groups, extended stay relocators to the area, and guests who are looking for a place to stay in the area for temporary work situations.

The original log cabin offers a complete unit for a more independent and private stay. Guests are required to take care of their own meals, although coffee and or tea are provided and simple staples (salt/pepper, oil, sugar). The host is located across the street and can be available at a moment's notice if there are any issues. As host I do like to be available to check my guests in and give them important info about the cabin but it is not essential and can be done without person to person contact. A message when the guest has arrived and or left the cabin is appreciated. House rules are posted on the kitchen cabinet along with WIFI info and local emergency numbers.
