Welcome home

Visiting Nashville for grandson's hockey tournament. This home was perfect. Karla and Skip are so warm and friendly, easy checkin and everything you need to have in a home away from home. They make you feel like family. We would definitely go back.

Just Like Home, But Better!!!

Lovely accommodations within striking distance of downtown Nashville / Broadway. Karla and Skip go over and above to make you feel welcomed in their lovely home, fresh baked goodies daily added to the charm of their Southern hospitality. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend their place for a laid-back, suburban experience in the Nashville area.

Very comfortable

Very cozy, private and close to everything. The hosts are attentive to everything to make your stay comfortable. I will definitely return to Nashville this is the place I stay again.

Very enjoyabl stay

Met Skip and Karla briefly, but was very busy with Vanderbilt stuff. They made us feel very welcome, from the custom made sign for our daughter's dorm room to the homemade sausage biscuits Karla made one morning. Would gladly stay again, and maybe get to know Skip Karla more. Highly recommended.

I felt like a VIP. So accommodating, such a welcoming and sound atmosphere. I had experienced teacher training that was fun but 2500 people and very fast paced and overwhelming stimuli. To know I had a sound environment to come home to was amazing. I so enjoyed my privacy and my coffee bar. I had a full sized refrigerator and freezer to store my items separately. Such a beautiful outside area.

Home away from home

Skip and Karla were wonderful hosts! The room was perfect for my spouse and I. It was quiet and they made us feel very welcome. They also recommended many nearby attractions in and around Nashville. Would stay here again!

SPECTACULAR time!!! Everything about the hosts and the property were extraordinary. This is a beautiful home and the hosts are so friendly, warm, inviting, and welcoming on every level. The attention to details, quiet location, great furnishings and convenience to so many things is great. Communications and directions were stellar. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in town.

Thoughtful hosts, convenient location

Skip & Karla were everything you’d want in a host-friendly, thoughtful, & generous. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like it was our home too. While the hosts were very nice folks, this should not be considered a VRBO. I was not in a separated part of a house to myself, but was actually in the hosts' living space. Yes, I had a private bedroom and bathroom, but there was at least one other guest there, and the hosts themselves. You have to walk through their kitchen and living area to get to the room. Also, in the room, I found that the closet area and dressers were already occupied by the host's belongings. I stayed only two nights, but was not comfortable, as I expected to have a space all to myself. If you are OK with staying in a house with other people, you should have no issues. But again, this should not be considered a VRBO, as you do not have the whole space to yourself.

Pleasant experience

Hosts are very accessible/pleasant. Rooms are comfortable, clean and ready. Quiet neighborhood, yet very close to stores, church, and downtown Nashville.

I had such a busy weekend running the roads of Nashville to Dickson. I felt welcomed from the time I walked in until I left. Very peaceful which is what I needed and privacy as well. Lovely couple and I would highly recommend my family/friends to stay. I will definitely be back.

No issues!!

Was a little nervous about staying in someone’s personal residence but they were very welcoming! I tend to keep to myself and they did the same! The offered nice sweet treats and snacks every time we seen each other!! Overall a good stay with no issues!! Will try to book with them next time!!

Beautiful home

The room and private bath were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the accommodations and the little treats provided by the host. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
