We stayed at this location for almost a month. It was a small space, but lacked nothing. And the view from the porch/hammock? UNBEATABLE! The owner was sweet and helpful, like everyone else we met. I felt safe and welcome. There were snacks, water, and even wine upon our arrival. For a small space, we had enough room for all our luggage (which was A LOT since we arent intending to go home as we are buying a boat.) There were cleaning supplies as well so we could keep the space spotless and it was nice to be able to wash our clothes as needed.
If I had to be critical, I would only have a few things to note: the water pressure is a bit low so it could impact your expectations for showering, etc. but it was not a problem for us. The bed has a plastic cover over the mattress which is great, but makes you feel clammy when sleeping unless you cover it with an extra blanket. The AC froze up a lot so we tried hard not to use it once we acclimated to the weather. In fact, we only used it as a fan most of the time. (I need to say that the owner was more than happy to have someone come out and look at it ... we just didnt want them to go through the trouble since it was working well enough.) Lastly, the driveway is Steep! Be prepared. We didn’t rent a car. We took the bus or walked everywhere. Sometimes the last stretch of the driveway kicked my butt! Lol but it was a great workout.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. I honestly recommend it. In fact, miss this place already.
