Famous for its laid-back charm, Vagator is divided into Big Vagator and Little Vagator (also known as Ozran Beach), each offering a distinct vibe. While the main Vagator Beach is lively with shacks, water sports, and sunset points, Little Vagator is more secluded, ideal for those seeking quiet moments by the sea.
The area is dotted with trendy cafes, beach clubs, yoga retreats, and boutique stays, making it popular among both international travellers and Indian tourists. Vagator is also home to the iconic Chapora Fort, known for its panoramic sea views and its Bollywood fame from Dil Chahta Hai.
Just south of Vagator lies Anjuna, a destination that beautifully blends bohemian spirit with Goan culture. Known for its flea markets (especially the famous Wednesday Flea Market), Anjuna has been a backpacker’s haven since the hippie era of the 1960s.
