Baker Ski Area — Alder Haus sleeps six in genuine comfort across a king suite and queen suite, each with a private ensuite, and a dedicated bunk lounge. ♨️ Covered Private Hot Tub, year-round, all-weather soaking beneath the trees. The covered design means you're in the tub whether it's snowing, raining, or one of those rare blue-sky Pacific Northwest evenings. Best after a long day on the mountain.



🎿 Dedicated Ski Gear Room + Dryer , a game-changer for winter guests. A true gear room with a dryer to keep your kit warm and dry between days on the mountain. Helmets, boots, jackets, everything organized and out of the way.



🛏️ King Suite + Queen Suite + Bunk Lounge — The primary suite has a king bed and ensuite bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with its own ensuite. Downstairs, a bunk room and entertainment lounge keeps kids or teens happily occupied — giving adults the run of the main floor.



🌲 Year-Round Outdoor Living — A sun-drenched deck with Adirondack chairs, a brand-new BBQ grill, and outdoor dining for warm evenings. In winter, the hot tub glows through the trees. In summer, the deck is the living room.

Good to Know

📡 Connectivity: Due to the rural area, cell phone service and cable tv are not available. However, Fast Fiber Optic WiFi is available. WiFi runs at about 306 Mbps, bring downloads just in case. Cell service improves near Mt. Baker Ski Area.



❄️ Weather & Access: 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended in winter. Mountain weather is real here — pack for all conditions and embrace it. This is exactly what makes it special.



🛒 Provisions: Stock up in Bellingham before heading up Hwy 542. There are a few local stops along the way, but this is mountain country — part of the charm is cooking together in that kitchen.



📍 Location: 20 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area. Close to hiking trails, waterfalls, and river walks in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
