Marco Island

Wonderful stay in Marco Island. Home is slightly dated but overall clean and well maintained, especially at the price point. Kids loved the pool and watching the boats go by on the canal. Would definitely recommend.

Great house

We loved the house and heated pool. The location was perfect for us we were able to walk to all the spots we like on Marco. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The only thing was there no afternoon sun in the pool area.

Wonderful waterfront home!

We just returned from a wonderful stay in this home on Marco Island. The pictures don't do it justice as they don't reflect that both bathrooms have been beautifully remodeled. We really enjoyed the large covered patio as we watched the kids swim and the dock is spacious and easy to get the boat in and out of. We chose this house because of its easy access to the bay and were pleased at how quickly we could get out to the bay and the beaches. The house had loads of towels and extra linens and the kitchen was really well equipped and supplied. A bonus was a new large capacity washer and dryer. We will be back!

Maintenance problems

When we checked into the property we noticed the pool water was low so we added some water to it. The water was very cold so we thought it might be due to the water we added to it. We waited a whole day but the pool never warmed up so I contacted the property manager to see where the pool heater controls were located. She informed me that renters were not allowed to change the temperature of the pool but assured me it was set to 87° We waited another entire day until we went and bought a pool thermometer and placed it in the pool to show the property manager that the temperature was actually 76°. The next day we woke up to the pool being 86 degrees but also our house 86Degrees. We thought maybe it was because the girls had open and close the sliding doors a few times throughout the day and it was kicking off the air conditioning but after two days of the house not going below 84° we again contacted the property manager where she contacted the air conditioning people to fix the problem. This is not the first VRBO that we have stayed at in Marco Island and the other issues included- only one trash bag for the entire week we were there, no propane in either of the propane tanks for the gas grill, only two people could shower in the morning because the hot water is so low you run out of hot water after two showers, pool company stating that the property owners were aware that their pool is not holding water. so overall the property was clean and the property management company handled all problems quickly however there were so many problems it just felt that’s all we dealt with during our stay.

Great stay in Marco

House is very nice. Great pool and boat dock. Bathrooms have been remodeled and are extremely nice, guest bath had direct access from the pool which was great for the kids hopping out and getting cleaned up. Location of house is great , especially for boating with quick access to the inlet. If I had to say anything that could be better it would be the cookware is a bit tattered, but that’s expected in a rental and not that big of a deal. The property was nice and it’s a good value for the money.

Good time, relaxing

Good location and walkable to some restaurants and boat adventures if desired. Short drive to the beaches and other activities. Very clean. Spent many hours in the pool and along the dock. Only thing I’d change is adding a couple pilings to the north end of the dock for guest boats to be able to dock overnight. Great place otherwise!
