Great location, with all the things one needs for an extended stay. The neighborhood was lovely and felt safe and welcoming. Great place for the dogs and the Chickens were an added bonus. Host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze.

Great place to stay. Only issue was trying to regulate the temperature on both floors. It is getting cold so it was hard to keep the house warm. We could not adjust the upstairs thermostat. The house was clean and charming. It had everything needed for our stay. Would totally rent again.

Quiet neighborhood in Chalfont

The house was just what we wanted for a quiet weekend away to spend time relaxing and reading. It was easy to find and had all the amenities we needed. Val is a responsive and pleasant host!

Perfect location, great host

Host kept us updated and was very helpful throughout with any questions that we had. It is obvious that he takes pride in his house and garden.Chalfint is a lovely area, and this has good links to Doylestown on the train too which was ideal.

Lovely Christmas stay

We stayed for a week while visiting grandchildren that live in the neighborhood. It was a lovely place, comfy and well provisioned. Hope to do it again next year!

Great Family House

This is a very spacious home in a great location. It’s nice having one full and one half bath available. Easy in and out access and responsive owner/host. Comfortable family and pet friendly surroundings.

Amazing place to stay

My husband grew up here and we wanted to visit our families. We just loved this property. I grew up on a farm and we had the same chickens growing up. I am a gardener and enjoyed looking at all of the trees and plants our host was growing on the property. My sister drove over from the finger lakes and we hosted a family dinner for her and my in-laws. It was . takeout from Spatola’s we just loved everything about our stay and highly recommend it. Nice quiet neighborhood near everything you need, minutes to peace valley park.

Awesome stay

My husband & I aling with our 2 year old cockapoo enjoyed our stay at The Red Brick House. Our dog loved being able to run free in the beautiful fenced in backyard. We all enjoyed being outside on the patio eating our breakfast listening to the birds & the frog in the little pind by the patio. We enjoyed playing games on the dining room table with our daughter who lives in the area. The air conditioning worked great with the temperatures reaching near 100 degrees outside during our. Very spacious house for a big family. There were 3 bedrooms, but we only used one. Great location. Right near Peace Valley Park for walking & biking. Could see hills off in the distance from the backyard. Nice quiet neighborhhood with restaurants nearby, by car. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay.

Red Brick House

It was a very nice property and met all our needs. Two of our grandchildren spent one night with us and loved having their own rooms❤️The property manager was quick to respond and solve the one issue we had.

Great for families

This property is a great fit for families, especially if you have kids and or a dog. The backyard is very spacious and fenced. It is great for mingling with family and friends. The owner has a garden and is also growing grapes, apples, etc. He also has a little hen house. There is a crib in one of the bedrooms along with a bed and plenty of kid stuff. The basement has a foosball table.

We needed a place to take our dogs to for the weekend. The fenced in backyard was perfect. The house was set up nicely. Very kid and dog friendly.

It was a perfect place for our family attending a wedding in Doylestown. It was close to all of the festivities. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable.

Incredibly clean, double booked

I want to start off with a positive which this was a very clean property inside and the furnishings were comfortable as well. The problem we encountered was the property was double booked through VRBO and another platform. A few hours into our evening another family came to check in. The other family left and they were very gracious, finally locating hotel rooms to accommodate the 6 of them. In the mean time, I made numerous attempts to reach the owner as did the other family. Ended up contacting VRBO who reached him on a vacation out of the country. Not only did he not apologize or take ownership he blamed the mix up with VRBO when speaking to me, but with the other family he said I had no claim on being in the house despite my booking two weeks prior and having a confirmation, (The other family and I stayed in contact and he sent screen shots.) Not only did I spend a few hours during a family vacation trying to sort this out, there was a concern that the other family had the entry code. While they truly seemed like trustworthy people, it was prudent to address this. The owner said to disassemble the door lock and reset the code. Not an easy task. Overall, I was really surprised that he did not even attempt to apologize. It most definitely was a security issue, fortunately the other family was remarkably kind. They, too, could have made the situation worse. It's the owner's responsibility to update his calendar when having multiple listings rather than shift the blame.
