Our spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home (sleeps 10) offers breathtaking lake views from almost every room. Experience lake life with our kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, & water trampoline. Sit back & relax on our wraparound deck, cozy up in the cabana by the water, lounge in the hammock on our pebble beach, or toast s'mores at our firepit.

Lakefront Views with Breathtaking Sunsets:
From the moment you enter our home you'll be greeted by floor to ceiling lake front views of the southernmost cove of Sleepy Hollow Lake. Drop off your things in the large mudroom with plenty of hooks and shoe trays to store your outdoor gear. Walk into the great room with cathedral ceilings with windows offering breathtaking views of our lakefront space. The open floor plan allows families and friends to seamlessly gather in the living room, kitchen and dining banquette.

Spacious Kitchen with Plenty of Seating:
The kitchen has a 10 foot island with seating for up to 5 people while the banquette can seat up to 12 with benches along each wall and 4 chairs around the other sides. The kitchen has a walk in chef's pantry that is stocked with numerous appliances, including: a toaster oven/air fryer, filtered water cooler, mini fridge for wine/drinks, nugget ice machine, slow cooker and blender. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to cook up a delicious meal, including a full pan set, cutting boards, cutlery, silverware, serving platters, electric oven range, stove, and Keurig coffee maker.

Open Living Space Opens to Wraparound Deck:
The living room has double sliding doors on either side of the room that opens to a full wraparound porch with seating overlooking the lakefront space. There is also an outdoor grill and grill tools available for your use.

Entertainment for Days- Smart TV, Games, Puzzles:
The living room has a 72" smart television with a Firestick available for guests to login to their streaming services. In the coffee table and tv console you'll find board games like Scrabble, Connect Four, Catchphrase, and more as well as multiple puzzles and puzzle mat for you to enjoy during your stay. And even more games can be found in the closet in the upstairs loft space!

Primary Bedroom with Private Deck Entrance & Seating:
Our primary bedroom is on the main floor with an en suite bathroom that also is accessible from the living space. This bedroom offers a King size bed, dresser, television, closet and its own private balcony entrance via sliding glass doors that open to a breakfast nook outside.

Loft Space with More Games, Views & Neon Sign:
On the second level, you will find a loft space that overlooks the lower level and also offers more lakefront views from above. Check out the closet for more games and don't leave before taking a selfie in front of the giant neon "Stay Awhile" sign on the wall. This is a great space to find some peace and quiet to get some work done, take a nap, or gather round for a family board game.

Guest Room with Reading Nook:
Two guest bedrooms can be found on this floor. The first guest room offers a Queen size bed with a reading nook, giant dresser with plenty of room for your belongings, and large closet space.

Guest Room with 2 Double Bunk Beds & Teepee:
The second guest room offers two built in bunk beds, each being a full size bed with plenty of room to stretch out. This is a great room to sleep extra friends or children, and even has a life size teepee for kids to play in throughout their stay.

Full Bathroom with Tub/Shower:
There is a shared bathroom on this level as well with double sinks and a full bathtub/shower.

Lower Level Bedroom with Lakefront Views:
If you walk down the stairs from the main level, you'll find our lower level guest room which offers another Queen size bed and some of the best lake front views in the house. This room also has it's own private full bathroom across the hall, which is also where you can find a washer and dryer available for use throughout your stay.

Bathrooms Stocked with Essentials :
All 3 bathrooms in our home include all the essentials you will need throughout your stay, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer & straightening iron in each room.

Roast S'mores at the Fire Pit:
When you step outside in the backyard, you'll find our fire pit area with Adirondack chairs for all your guests, situated next to our pebble beach and lakefront cabana.

Lakefront Cabana with More Seating:
In the cabana you'll find a futon couch, fridge, and beach towels available for your use. The front window opens up to a bar table that can be accessed from either side of the window with plenty of stool seating. You'll also find a dart board on the wall for some more fun!

Water Toys for All Ages:
On our pebble beach, you'll have access to our 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, canoe that can seat up to 3, and in the water is a water trampoline that is fun for all ages!

There's something here for everyone, however you prefer to enjoy the lake. Whether it's taking a boat out on the lake, relaxing on the pebble beach, reading a book on the couch in the cabana, or having a cold drink at the bar... pick your pleasure and enjoy your stay at the Gray Owl Lodge!

The SHL community also offers many amenities for your enjoyment during your stay, including 2 pools (one just a few minutes away), tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, a swimming beach, and 2 playgrounds. Guest wristbands will be made available to you during your stay.

And we're just a short drive away from the charming towns of Athens, Hudson, Catskill & Coxsackie and all they have to offer- from shopping to restaurants, there is so much to do while you are here!

And In the winter months, there are so many nearby options for skiing- we're 35 mins to Windham, 40 mins to Hunter, 45 mins to Catamount, and 1 hour to Belleayre.
