Desert getaway

Great place to stay amongst the saguaros. Perfect place to enjoy all the wildlife the desert has to offer. It was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings and early morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Super clean private casita. Nice towels, comfy bed, great kitchen. Loved sitting on the porch in the rain. Great host. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet desert beauty

Ideal spot for exploring Saguaro National Park! A nonbusy trailhead is only a mile away. The casita is comfortable with a full kitchen and a clean private hot tub. Jim is a friendly, responsive host. We enjoyed the desert landscape, birds and stars.

This casita is situated amidst a saguaro forest nestled amongst some small peaks. It enjoys beautiful sunrises and proximity to hiking trails. It is some distance from town, but if what you are looking for the quintessential southwestern scenery, it doesn’t get much better than this!

This was our third stay, which kind of speaks for itself. We love being so close to an amazing trailhead, away from the urban sprawl, with a cute little hot tub, and only 20 minutes from great downtown restaurants.

Quiet hideaway

This was as beautiful as the photograph on the listing and just the perfect place to spend our vacation. We loved the quiet area and the sightings of the local birds and animals. The casita is very comfortable and yet spacious enough for us to have some friends join us for dinner one evening. We would definitely rent this vacation home again.

Wonderful Stay!

My husband and I really loved our stay at Diamante! The house was in a beautiful location, not too far a drive to downtown, but far enough away to "feel away from it all". It was s short drive to some lovely hikes. The house has a beautiful view of natural surroundings with saguaros and small birds. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from the porch. Even though there is another home nearby, the way the house is positioned, you don't even notice there is anything else around. The home was extremely clean, not a spec of dust or dirt in sight. The bed was comfortable. The home was appointed well with lovely touches and well equipped for a long stay (we stayed for 5 nights and used the kitchen a lot, cooking many of our meals in the house). On our previous visit to Tucson, we had stayed at Tanque Verde Ranch, which we loved as well. However, even though Tanque Verde Ranch has other things to offer like a restaurant on site, horseback riding, etc., we ultimately enjoyed El Diamante more!

Wonderful views!

This was a wonderful space for my hubby and I to spend time in the outskirts of Tucson which is where we wanted to be! Nice house with wonderful views but within 30 minutes of anywhere we wanted to go in the city and easy access to the national park!

Fun place - just what we wanted. The casita had plenty of space for two people and beautiful dessert views. Quite idyllic. FYI - it is off the beaten path, so no quick access to restaurants and such. However, it is a perfect dessert oasis.

Sweet little desert hideaway

Comfortable, clean, little gem away from the city. Hiking just outside the door. One mile to the Saguaro National Park. It was just what we wanted. Owners were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you!

Beautiful Desert Retreat

This was our second time to stay at Adobe Ranch. We loved this property. The Casita is charming! It is furnished nicely and kitchen is well equipped. We spent many hours sitting on the patio, enjoying the beautiful desert. It is really such a quiet, serene location. There are other casitas on the property. This is the second one we stayed in. Both were great, this one slightly larger. We will return for sure!

Perfect Hideaway

This wonderful casita is away from the bustle of Tucson and nestled at the foot of a mountain. The quiet was wonderfully restorative. We were surrounded by cactus and other flora of the desert. We enjoyed the multitude of birds in the area, particularly the Gambel's quail with many wee chicks. There were deer on the hillside and javelina crossing the road at night. After our week-long stay, we were sad to leave this wonderful location.

Beautiful desert location

If you really enjoy being in the Sonoran Desert surrounded by towering Saguaros, then this place is for you. Yes, other casitas are nearby, but the orientation/location of this casita makes you feel isolated in the beautiful landscape. It is near fun hiking trails and the Saguaro West National Park, and still only 20 minutes’ drive to downtown Tucson. The property is clean, comfortably furnished, updated, the kitchen is well stocked, and it features fun artwork. Best of all, it’s quiet! The outdoor jacuzzi is a bonus, and so was seeing a bobcat amble by in pursuit of a rabbit (which got away). Highly recommended.

Beautiful property with amazing views. The only issue we had was when we checked in the house was 55 degrees inside, it took about 12 hours to heat up to 70. Other than that, the house was perfect with much hiking to choose from within a few miles.

Close but feels far away

We loved this casita-both the casita itself and the location. It is perfect for a couple. The location feels very quiet and remote, and it is beautiful and peaceful sitting outside and taking in the desert and mountain views. But it is only about a mile from a really great trailhead. And it is only about 18 minutes to the restaurants on the north edge of downtown, and less than that to groceries, etc. We hope to come back.

Saw javelinas, quail, roadrunners, deer and hawks. Vegetation was beginning to green up in the first week of February!

Nice place ... very quiet. The hot tub is small but perfect with very adequate jets and a great view for a morning soak. The fireplace draws well and makes for a perfect evening routine.

Wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at El Diamante. The location was beautiful, with nature surrounding the house. The house was comfortable, spacious, clean, and well equipped for two. The hot tub was great- private and warm on the cool nights. An added bonus was nearby hiking. All in all a great experience!

Just what we needed

Secluded with gorgeous views. Very comfortable with excellent proximity to hiking Saguaro Nat’l Park west and Tucson Mountain Park. Jim and YoYo were prompt and very responsive in our communications. We’ll be sure to return!

Wonderful, wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Diamonte. The casita was beautiful, modern, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for day trips to the surrounding area. We managed to get to the Colossal Cave, Pima Air & Space Museum, toured the Boneyard (two-week security clearance is mandatory for this tour), Karchner Caverns, Tombstone, Bisbee, Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro National Park, and the Arizona Desert Museum, all in four fun-filled days. Coming back from a day of sight seeing to El Diamonte was a dream come true. We were fortunate to have wild life visitors, too -- quail, bunnies, a roadrunner, a coyote, and a bobcat! Thanks for a great min-vacation location!

Peaceful desert experience

If you love the desert, you’ll love El Diamonte. Situated on desert property, it is peaceful, quiet—except for the sounds of birds—and offers beautiful views of the surrounding saguaro-filled hills. Although not in town it is convenient to Tucson and all of its attractions. The casita itself is private, comfortable, clean, and has everything one would need. I loved my stay here.
