From the moment we checked in, Roger made the experience exceptional. He was one of the friendliest hosts I’ve met in a long time—welcoming us in, showing us around our room, and pointing out several activities and places to explore during our stay.My favorite part was easily the view—absolutely extraordinary, to say the least. The location was perfect as well: Lake Placid was only about a 15-minute drive away, with tons of great shops and restaurants to choose from.For anyone who enjoys the outdoors, Whiteface Mountain is right down the road and offers either an incredible hike to the summit (around 5 hours round trip) or a scenic drive up in about 20 minutes. At the top, there’s even an observatory with breathtaking views.Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to adventure, dining, and sightseeing. To top it all off, they’re dog-friendly, which makes it even better for travelers bringing their furry companions along. Will be stopping here for a stay on our next adventure to the north! 10/10's
