Perfect location on Beautiful Beach

Snorkeling with reef and green turtles just feet away. Condo is nicely furnished and very clean. Maid service not mentioned, but provided daily. Bring binoculars as we watched whales daily from the patio. Nice, quiet condo community with gated parking. Kitchen well furnished, with only minor complaint being dull knives.

Wonderful quiet setting

We had a wonderful time staying there for 20 days. The property is located in a beautiful spot and well established, which makes for nice landscaping and private setting. The view from our Unit was stunning and it was very conveniently located to the beach, pool, tennis courts and parking. The unit itself is very clean and the kitchen has everything you need. While the layout, cabinets and furnishings are a bit dated, it felt like home. The second bedroom is rather small with a queen size bed, which made things a bit tight for our two adult daughters. We definitely would go back though.

Stunning view, location, and property with just one or two small hiccups

The check-in process is not well-defined if you're going through VRBO. Be forewarned you need to pay attention to all your emails/texts/in app messages because check-in takes place several miles away from the property. Aside from that, this is the best location we've stayed in on Maui and at Makena Surf. There were a few tired furnishings and the dish washer and washer/dryer might need a refresh, but overall, it was fantastic. The view and location trumped anything marginal. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and a washer/dryer which weren't very well communicated in the listing. The staff was stellar and responsive. It was very easy to text with them. We did have to ask about a few things not working but they were on it in a heartbeat and it didn't detract from the stay.

Great stay

This property was a winner. The lanai had a spectacular view overlooking Chang's Beach. We had a maintenance issue that was fixed promptly. Beach chairs provided by the property. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful escape

The unit was just what we were hoping for and expecting—beautiful unobstructed view, right on the beach, property nicely set up, not congested with easy access to activities. Staff were accommodating. Would definitely return.

Beach it!!

The property is dated and the check in process was very confusing with very little communication. Once we connected ll was good. Views and location are great and we really enjoyed the condo overall.

Superb view from a lovely unit

Fantastic property at Makena Surf. Spectacular lanai features a massive door wall that opens the entire wall to the outside. Excellent beach access.

Vacation of a lifetime

This was an amazing property with vast ocean views. The beach was just steps away. The pools were nice and well kept. Shops and restaurants were a 5 minute drive. Snorkeling just a few miles south was superb. We will definitely go back!

Perfect

We own a place in Wailea and love the area. We wish this were ours, it is absolutely perfect. The location can't be beat, sitting right on our favorite beach. The bedroom/bathroom opening up to the front room with views of the ocean from bed is terrific. Daily housekeeping is a great touch of comfort. Just a wonderful stay, can't wait to be back. Thanks!
