This is was such a perfect place to stay at the end of October! The color of the leaves were so pretty and the outdoor patio was perfect for morning coffee! The property managers were so accommodating, making it such a fun weekend!

This property is incredible! It’s like a little private hideaway in the forest. There’s so much to enjoy, literally right in your own backyard. And the loft was an absolutely perfect place for our little to rest and play. The hosts are kind, helpful, and very prompt with communication. There are several family friendly hikes less than ten minutes up the road. From ages 3 up through the adults, we all agree that we will be back!

This cabin provided a perfect getaway surrounded by the woods! The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, wifi, outside areas & porches for everyone to relax & enjoy the scenery! The hot tub & fishing pond were the property highlights for us. The kids loft upstairs provided plenty of beds & room to hold larger families. Extra charges for over 2 people apply.

This place was so nice, would definitely book again. Host were super friendly and had all the information we would need for ANYTHING while on our stay. Property is beautiful ans secluded, the perfect place to relax after exploring all day. Thanks again for the wonderful experience.

Great get-away cabin for the family

My partner and 2 kids loved this place. Highlights include the private pond for fishing, upstairs loft we dedicated to the kids for their own space, and the hot tub. Everything was as listed so there were no surprises and the hosts communication was top notch.

Percent family getaway

This is our favorite VRBO property we’ve ever stayed at. Hocking Hills is beautiful, but you do need some down time from hiking. The house had everything we needed to just relax for awhile between hikes. The kids played in the backyard for hours, and when it rained there were plenty of toys, games, books and DVDs to entertain the kids indoors. The kids loved the adventure of playing and sleeping in the loft. The staircase up to the loft can be stressful if you happen to have very young children, but ours are 5 and up and it was just fine. The house was clean and had every amenity we needed. We would definitely recommend this property!

Amazing!!

We have stayed at a few cabins in the hocking hills area and this was honestly my favorite! We wanted to get away from the city and just enjoy a peaceful weekend with no electronics and no social media. The cabin is so beautifully decorated and the owners really made sure there is everything you need here. The attention to detail was absolutely wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, the wooded area was so nice for our boys to explore. We made a big pot of chili over the fire pit and of course roasted marshmallows for s’mores. They have a huge family size couch that was perfect for family movie night. We even made a bet with my oldest son that he wouldn’t jump in the cold pond! Needless to say I’m out $100. Lol. The family time we had this weekend was much needed and a memorable experience. We will definitely be returning again!

Honeymoon Get Away to Hocking Hills

This was exactly the type of cabin experience we were looking for in a get away for our honeymoon to Hocking Hills. The property was described to a "T" and it was such a great time. Our hosts communicated timely and with such detail that it made check in/out a breeze.

Clean House and Great Area

Me and some friends stayed for the July 4th holiday. The house was pretty secluded and easy to access off the road. Beautiful interior on some great property. We found a good hiking trail located behind the house with some good scenery, just be careful to not fall off a cliff. I decided to bring my gaming pc (I know what you’re thinking…Kids these days!!!), WiFi wasn’t good enough to run my games, but I’m glad it sucked because it forced me to go outside and have fun. There are some pretty big fish in the pond, I definitely recommend bringing a rod and some bait. Thanks for the great trip and I hope to be back in the future.

Whole family enjoyed- will book again!

The property is great and extremely family friendly. All of the little extra details like DVDs available, kids toys, games, lanterns for outside, etc. really made the stay super memorable. There was something for everyone! Dad and big kids loved catching bass at the fishing hole, mom loved the hammock, and the toddler loved the kids loft. I am extra impressed with the hot tub- super clean and no musty smells. We will definitely rebook!

This place is the best!

This was our second stay and we absolutely LOVE this property and the area! We celebrated our honeymoon here last year and it was so amazing that we had to come back for our anniversary! We love the nature and seclusion of this property. We will be back again for sure!

Great cozy spot!

We loved our time at this cabin! It was so beautifully decorated with thoughtful little touches everywhere! Lavender spray for your pillows, Bluetooth/dimmer mirror in the bathroom, lanterns for outside, games and toys for all ages. And best part only minutes from Old Man's Cave! Our family had a blast!

Everything in this property is top notch. House, kitchen, beds, and bath are all so nice. Every utensil or tool is supplied. Lots of fluffy towels and extra throws. Comfortable living space. Amazing bathroom. Screened porch so nice. The property is well maintained with every convenience included. Location is great. With access to walking trails there is no reason to take the car. If you need anything, store is close. Great stay!

One of our Favorite stays in Hocking

We have stayed many times in HH, but this was our 1st time bringing the kids for a family trip. You simply can NOT go wrong w/ this cabin oasis! They have thought of EVERYTHING! The kids loved the swing, catching over 20 fish in the pond out back, Hiking the trails on the property, enjoying a fire every night, the bunk beds and toys were abundant, and mom and dad enjoyed coffee every morning on the back porch, the rainfall shower, the VERY comfortable bed, and every little detail was well thought of. Spices, extra condiments if you forgot something, a charger, flashlights, marshmallow sticks, a wood splitter, a hammock, extra blankets, hell there was even a baby carrier for Hiking if you needed it!!! Extra tooth brushes, makeup towels, lotion, shampoo, an iron, games for everyone, Bluetooth audio in every room, the list goes in and on because this place is JUST LIKE HOME! We plan to come back and visit again and again. Not only are you centrally located to everything HH has to offer, you feel like you are right at home the moment you walk in the door. The owners are very quick to respond and so very kind and accommodating, you just don't want to miss this gem in HH if you're looking for a great place to make memories with your family.

Very Clean/Well Maintained Property

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Hocking Hills. It was extremely clean and well maintained. The owners seemed to think of everything down to the tiniest details, Some of these included a Bluetooth speaker and chargers located by the front door, towel hooks around the hot tub, toys and games for the kids, and a diffuser to create calming scents in the bedroom.

Home away from home

It was very easy to get too and was very welcoming right when we pull into the driveway. Had questions for the host and they got back with us very quickly. Alot to do there in and outside of the cabin. Family with kids or no kids its a great place to stay.

Perfect Honeymoon

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and it was absolutely perfect! This is a nature lovers dream spot. The property and home were both just so beautiful! Cozy & Private Getaway in the Woods

We absolutely loved our stay at this property over a 3-day weekend. It had everything needed to use in the kitchen for cooking and doing dishes, comfortable beds in cozy rooms, lots of windows for viewing nature and curtains to block out sunlight when needed, lots of towels for both for the hot tub and bathroom, games, DVDs, speakers for music, and chargers for your phones. The house was VERY clean and we appreciated the extra touches such as the fun variety of drinking glasses and coffee mugs, the blue tooth/antifog mirror in the bathroom, the unique shower with all the different spout choices, fish food for the pond, kids toys, black hand towels for removing make-up, fire pit with lots of seating, battery powered lanterns and lots of blankets in the living room. My favorite was the screened in back porch to relax on. Note that you will get your exercise if walking around this property as the pond and fire pit are both located downhill from the house. But if you are like us, we were coming Hocking Hills to hike anyways! 😄 We visited Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Old Man's Cave, Stone House, Cantwell Cliffs, Chapel Cave/Falls, Brewery 33, Hocking Hills Winery, Hocking Hills Moonshine and also Grandma Faye's. All within a 20 minute drive or less from this place. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Relaxing Property

This is a quiet and beautifully maintained property. The hosts have a great attention to detail to make sure guests have what they need to feel at home. The property is beautiful with pond/fire pit/hot tub. There is a path leading to trails for hiking. If we come back to this area again, I would definitely want to stay here again.

Lovely Stay

This is our second time staying at the property, we had planned for 6, but the two teens bailed and then one couple had to attend a funeral on Saturday morning, so just 2 of us Friday but our friends joined us Saturday afternoon and we had a wonderful time together! Very cold Friday night/Saturday morning, but we made the best of it and hiked anyway! The cabin is well appointed and we noticed some upgrades since the summer, the rusty water is improved and there is a drinking spigot :)

What makes this cabin unique is that it was renovated, decorated and furnished to be a personal second home. There are individual touches throughout that you won’t find in other rental properties, and amenities that will make your stay comfortable and memorable.
