Absolutely fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and the owners thought of everything. Any time I thought “oh no, I forgot X” I opened a cabinet and lo and behold. The grounds are peaceful and we all enjoyed the trail and fire pit. My homebody 9 year old who complained for three weeks about not wanting to go on the trip said “It really has everything. 11/10 cabin for me honestly.”

We love this place! We have been there 4 years in a row now! We will continue each year. The trail and scavenger hunt are great and the swing is so much fun the balance being the kids love. We have stayed in the Log Cabin, The loft and the Cottage. We sit by the fire, lay in the hammock, rost marshmallows and hot dogs. Just unwind and disconnect. I say disconnect but they have decent wifi so i was able to work. Tgis place is 10 out of 10. 100% you will love it.

The cabin was quaint and quiet in the country as we prefer. We had coffee pods and host said they could provide more if needed. Some decaf along with regular would have been nice. Some of the light switch plates could have been cleaner, but I'm a little picky about things that are touched a lot. We prefer a firmer bed for our old bones, but again that's just our preference. We appreciate the host's hospitality.

Amazing property! They have a fun trail on property that is well marked and easy to follow for the scavenger hunt. We used the firepit and grill. Porches are comfy and perfect for fresh coffee before atarting the day. Outside of the city but still accesible to Tyler- the stars are beautiful. The nearby forest brings peace. Lovely and clean accommodations. They truly put care into the space and it shows in how it feels comfortable as soon as you arrive.

Really cute cabin in the woods. It was clean and tidy. It was equipped with everything anyone would need. TV, movies, pots and pans, coffee maker, etc. Really loved this place. I could live there. The only reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is because I couldn’t get good reception on my phone or tablet. But heck you’re supposed to go there and relax right? I loved that you could build a campfire or play games outside and a hike. Really a great place.

Relaxing gettaway

We arrived about 3 PM on Friday. We unpacked, went out to eat. Came back watched a movie played a few games and went to bed early. Saturday morning we all got up, went to splash Kingdom. We had a great day came home to the cabin and cooked dinner on a small kitchenet. I got to swing on the huge tree swing. We played darts corn hole and horseshoes that night. Sunday morning got up. Cooked breakfast Had a relaxing morning, talked with the owner, and we left about 10:30 that morning, after cleanup and packing. I've got to say, we had a wonderful time. It was great to meet the owner and actually get to talk to her. I hope you would pick this place to stay.

The cabin was nice however, when I wiped down some of the furniture, I got a lot of dust. also, we ran out of paper towels in the kitchen however, I had bought my own roll.

This place is a gem! The host have made sure that every age group has something of interest for them. It is exactly as stated in the listing. The host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. Loved the location. Will definitely return one day.

We had such a wonderful time! My girls loved the scavenger hunt and other activities on the property. They enjoyed the swings, hammock, and cornhole. It was an amazing experience and we cant wait to go back!

2 Day Getaway!

The cabin in the woods was great! We enjoyed our stay..Just wish it was more private. The nearby residents kind of took away the privacy for me but overall it was good.

Nice & Quite Piney Woods Log Cabin

We enjoyed a few of the amenities and the peacefulness of being in the woods! Thankfully the others renting this weekend where quiet because the rentals were so close to each other. We were only able to enjoy the trails the first day before it rained and got muddy. It would be nice if the trails had some gravel on them so you could enjoy them in any weather. It was great to be able to have our dogs with us! Since it was nice if because as close together

Wonderful Retreat!

Cabin Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect. The kids enjoyed the swings, horseshoes, and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The collection of DVDs was so fun too. Looking forward to visiting again!

Its a clean quiet log cabin in the woods with a wood fireplace and a half mile long trail. Perfect for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Some items available: Outdoor fire pit gathering area with hammock and swings(two and one person), games, TV, DVD player, DVDs, books, charcoal grill, a wood fireplace, double propane hotplate, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, Foreman grill, and much more.

Bedding is always washed before a new guest arrives. Cabin is always clean for guests.

We are 15 minutes from Canton. Which has one if the largest flea markets in the world. Also just 8 miles away from Texas Rose Horse Park. Plenty of fishing lakes Lake Fork, Lake Palestine, Lake Tawakoni, and Tyler State Park Pond. 20 minutes from Tyler State Park. Close cities Lindale, Tyler, Edom, Van, Hideaway, Mineola, Canton, and Gladewater antique capitol of Texas.
